One hero, assumed dead. One woman who refuses to give up. One destiny.
Anna Boone won’t give up the search for her cousin, Sarah, who everyone assumes dead. And she refuses to give up on the wounded bear found next to the ashes of her cousin’s house. There’s something deep in his eyes and in his soul she just can’t resist. Something special. Something…human, almost. When her search for the truth leads her to the Blue Moon Saloon, Anna finds more than she ever bargained for — and unwittingly leads a deadly foe to those she loves most.

Behind the doors of the Blue Moon Saloon, alpha shifters confront their darkest fears and their deepest desires. This book is a complete standalone story - no cliffhangers!

* A paranormal romance with adult content. The perfect read for fans of strong heroines, alpha heroes, werewolves, werebears, and shapeshifters, red-hot cowboys, romantic westerns, paranormal suspense, action-adventure romance, and fantasy romance! *

Salvation is book four in the Blue Moon Saloon series by Anna Lowe.

I have been enjoying this series and even though each book in the series can be read as a stand-a-lone. I recommend reading the series in order. I always feel that series books are best in order, giving you more understanding and perspective of the storyline, world, and characters.

I love shifters, especially bears. They are just so cuddly and adorable. This book focuses on Todd (bear shifter) and Anna (human), both are searching for something. Anna knows deep down her cousin Sarah is still alive and Todd well he’s not sure how or why he’s still breathing. This story ties into the previous book Redemption, so if you don’t read any of the others, you should pick up Redemption first.

Their relationship is not quite instant love since Todd and Anna have meet before, but they can’t place the moment yet. I didn’t fully feel their relationship as I have with the others. They spend a lot of time avoiding each other until Anna decides to let go and go for what she wants. I just felt like something was missing, really can’t put my finger on it, but I still very much enjoyed their romance and story.

Their was also so much going on behind the obvious and a few surprises along the way. It’s heartfelt, delightful, and touching. It’s also loaded with action and adventure.

As always Ms. Lowe knows how to pull the reader in and take us on an emotional journey. The writing is well done and keeps me coming back for more. Salvation is a deep emotional journey. I highly recommend the Blue Moon Saloon and also The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series.

About Anna Lowe

USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the “hero” back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who’s doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she’ll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

  1. The only bear shifter I met is Eve Langlais’ and her bears are just as adorable! Gruffy but so tender!

    Happy weekend!

      Have a great weekend too.
