Goals for 2018
Goals. What are they? They can be anything you want them to be. When you set a goal you are taking that first step towards success, accomplishment, and achievements. It’s a step towards being involved in life.
So, what are my goals for 2018?
My Personal Goals:
- To cherish each day, each moment in life, as if it was my last.
- To be happy, healthy, and surrounded by loved ones.
- To get better at communication / expressing myself and feelings.
- To try new things.
My Blog Goals:
- To continue to limit my book spending.
- To continure to branch out on my reading genres.
- To continue the Randomness & Delectable Delights posts
- To do more Discussion Posts
- To continue to limit Review Requests and NetGalley Requests.
- To finish/get caught up on several series that I’ve started; Jane Yellowrock, Charley Davidson, The Dresden Files, Chicagoland Vampires, K-9 Rescue, Argeneau

Good luck with all the goals! Yes to trying new things 😀 It’s always the new things that open up possibilities!
Thank you!
I was looking for some inspirational goal quotes for this post and these stood out to me. Their were many more, but it’s Vanilla Ice and LL Cool J. ^_^ Thank’s for stopping bye.
I kind of love that you quote Vanilla Ice as your inspiration. 🙂 Sounds like you’ve got some great goals planned!
Thank you!
Some great goals! Good luck tackling them all this year 🙂
Those are some great goals. I love those quotes you picked at the top.
I like the quotes too. Glad you stopped in.
Yep, balancing the social and reading is hard. I sometimes get to caught up in social and leave no time for reading and then I’m bummed. Balance is a never ending battle. All those goals are amazing and I’m rooting for you. ^_^
The brining of the year is kinda hard. The Holidays just ended and things aren’t on a rotten yet. I’m a bit behind on my reading for ARC’s. All those are great goals and I rooting for you!
That’s great. It’s hard when you first get going balancing the reviews and NetGalley. I’m at that point too where I don’t need the added reviews. I only pop on NetGalley now when an author I’m really looking forward too is having a new book out. I request and if I get, YA, but if not it’s ok. I manly go for those authors that aren’t at my library. I know what my library will get and won’t. Good luck with your goal!! I’m rooting for you.
Limit review and net galley requests! Yes!!! That is the one major goal I have set for myself this year. I think I am finally at a place in my blogging life where I am okay with this!
Darn, I meant to participate in this today. I have to get caught up on blog stuff. That is one of my goals, to get my blog time organized and focused. I’m off kilter. Like last year I also want to broaden my scope of blogs I regularly read. I also want to try and keep up with the blogosphere by reading and sharing at least 5 posts a day. That is HARD for me for some reason! Good luck with your goals, and I’m looking forward to all those great posts you’re set to make!
My 2018 goals are: keep losing weight,to move, breath and eat to nourish my mind, body and soul! Also to do a little less socials and read more. Shared on all my socials!!
