After a bitter divorce from her cheating husband, Makayla searches for her muse in the remote hills of Spain. When she flings open the door of her villa, she finds it in the form of intense blue eyes and a killer body attached to a thick Spanish accent.

Armand has lost everything. His magic and his freedom are taken when an evil curse is placed on the Jinn, bounding him to earth. With only his immortality and ability for seduction, he sets his sights on the dark haired newcomer in town.

What begins as desire in the steamy nights of Spain, quickly leads to something more meaningful. However, when evil emerges from the shadows, Makayla learns she must choose between her mortality and Armand’s freedom.

ARC Early Review: Spanish Nights

Spanish Nights is book one in Valerie Twombly’s new series A Jinn’s Seduction. Ms. Twombly delivers a spellbinding world full of magic and romantic suspense. I was blown away by her writing, character, and plot development. She delivers a sexy sensual Jinn and a writer suffering from writers block.

Makayla I loved. I had a smile on my face at her predicament and it was easy to connect to her, even though I am not a writer, I loved that the author made her character a writer. It was fun and exciting to watch her get/find her muss.

Armand I just feel in love. He is fears, courageous, strong and wants to find love. He also has manners that a girl can swoon over. I so want a sexy Jinn of my own. Maybe I can hook up with one of Armand’s brothers. ^_^

Spanish Nights start’s us off hot and heavy, throwing us into a curse, and then moving us along into love at first site. The author brings her writing to life with strong, easy to fall for, and relate too characters. The plot and romance where delightfully mesmerizing. The relationship was fast paced and Makayla and Armand where perfectly matched for each other. The sex scenes were spicy hot and arousing. Valerie can write a steamy scene. Ms. Twombly did through me for a loop with a very interesting twist I did not see coming, but loved and it made the book that much more enchanting.

A fabulous beginning to a great new series. If you love a spellbinding world full of sexy Jinn’s and interesting characters, then you don’t want to miss this magical romantic adventure. I know I will be picking up the next book and I can’t wait!

  1. I can understand the love/attraction at first site..it does not work for everyone and I’ve only found a few books where I’m not upset/frustrated/turned off by it. Thank’s checking out the review Braine.
