As oldest daughter of the retired alpha, Tina Hawthorne lives to serve her pack. She’s never been tempted to throw caution to the wind for a man — until Rick Rivera returns. The sweet boy from the adjoining ranch is all grown up, but that doesn’t make the irresistible human any more suitable as a mate. Especially with a dangerous new foe haunting the night and Rick harboring a few secrets — and enemies — of his own.

There’s more than meets the eye on Twin Moon Ranch, home to a pack of shapeshifting wolves willing to battle for life and love.

* A 50,000 word paranormal romance with adult content — not to mention more hot-blooded alpha cowboys than you can count and a swoon-worthy pro athlete ready for his third and final chance. *

Also in this series: Desert Fate , Desert Moon, Desert Wolf: Friend or Foe, Desert Blood, Desert Hunt, Desert Wolf 2

~ 4 Desert Heart Stars ~

Desert Heart is book four in The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series by Anna Lowe. This was a sweet addition to the series.

Tina finally gets her chance at love, but it won’t be easy. She has watched both her brothers find mates and have children, while she has no one. Tina suffers in silence, she has played the role of the Alphas daughter while keeping a very big secret. She is devoted to those she loves, smart, strong, and has always been a mystery. To finally see her let go and battle for her fated one was lovely. Rick is sexy, fun, and very open about his feelings for Tina. Rick is not a quitter and he made a plan to win the only women for him. These two have great chemistry and watching them battle their feelings and make the right decisions was magnificent. I also enjoyed seeing the whole family of Twin Moon and spending time with them. We also get to meeting Tina’s sister and I’m curious to see where her story goes.

Desert Heart is a quick read with a few surprises along the way. I highly recommended this series, especially if you enjoy werewolves. It’s unique, emotional, and the author always gives us a sweet and happy ending.

About Anna Lowe

USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the “hero” back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who’s doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she’ll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

  1. Anna Lowe was an un-known to me author until this year when I participated in a book tour for one of her books. I feel in love with this series and have been looking forward to each novel or novella as it comes out. She is a great writer and has away of pulling you in deeply to her characters and the emotions they go through. I hope you enjoy and thank you for stoping by!
