Drama. Scandal. Secrets.
And a whole lot of supernatural goings-on.

No one’s more surprised than Sophia when she’s struck by an unfamiliar maternal urge to move closer to her daughters. But there’s one obstacle to enjoying her luxurious new home near Lake Michigan: her fourth daughter, Cassandra. Revealed to be a rare prophet, Cassandra is missing. And that means the whole family is in danger. So instead of being greeted by a welcome committee, Sophia is targeted by kidnappers—and saddled with an exasperatingly sexy bodyguard…

Six feet of pure-blooded Were, Luc is gorgeous, ruthless, and immediately stunned by Sophia’s smoldering beauty. The man in him is on a mission to protect—while the wolf in him is on a mission to seduce, and possess. All the more reason to keep Sophia safe—assuming she doesn’t get them both killed first…

Also in this series: When Darkness Comes, Darkness Everlasting, Darkness Revealed, Darkness Unleashed, Beyond the Darkness, Devoured by Darkness

**Read as part of The Real Werewives of Vampire County

This one was about Sophia, the mother to the four werewolf daughters in the series.

Sophia, I have never been a fan of. She is a total bitch and drop dead gorgeous. The author did try to give her a more softer side and explain why she is such a bitch.

Luc, is a purebred werewolf as well, drop dead sexy, and alpha to the core.

These two have an instant attraction and with the werewolf magic coming back and mates being found it works. They don’t give in, but fight the attraction until they both combust with some intense sexual encounters.

Their is also a mystery and I did not see who the bad guy was, until it happened.

Where Darkness Lives is a good read.

  1. Hi Geybie’s Book Blog, It’s nice to see a new face. This series was a good one. I enjoyed all the books. I’m like you. I like to read a series in order, book 1 first. I’ve been changing things up this year and reading more contemporary. As you can see PNR and UF are my main genres to read.

  2. This one sounds interesting. it’s been a long time since the last time I read paranormal romance. I’ve been wanting to change a little bit and dived in this genre again but I don’t know which series to start. I usually prefer to read from Book 1 if it is a series but for this series it would be too long.
Great blog, btw. I’ll see around for your recommendations. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
