Lure of the Wolf is book two, but can be read as a stand-a-lone. It was a wonderful, delightful, and sweet read in the Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart series.
Lure of the Wolf is an exciting, delicious, and satisfying read. The action and suspense kept me on the edge of my set. The characters are interesting and the story is well told. I just love each of the five “brothers in arms”. These brothers are retired military men that have formed their own unique pack, clan, group. Each one is unique and nothing is off limits except falling in love with humans.
Boone is adorable and Nina is so kindhearted. They are just perfect for each other. You can see their connection throughout and how well they work together. The story is captivating and intriguing. Just trying to figure out what will happen next is exciting.
This is such a fun series. You can’t go wrong with Anna Lowe and her shifter stories.

It’s good. I like the retired military and how different shifters formed their own pack, clan, brotherhood together. Each are unique and sexy.
You know how much I love shifters. The retired military brother angle is one that I enjoy too. I’ll have to add this to my list.

The third book Lure of the Bear just came out this week. I just finished it. It was just as good. I really love Anna Lowe’s writing. She has a way of making the reader feel for her characters. The emotions just come of the page. You should also try out her Blue Moon Saloon and Twin Moon Ranch series.
