From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant comes a new story in her Dragon King series…

Marked by passion

A promise made eons ago sends Sebastian to Italy on the hunt to find an enemy. His quarry proves difficult to locate, but there is someone who can point him in the right direction – a woman as frigid as the north. Using every seductive skill he’s acquired over his immortal life, his seduction begins. Until he discovers that the passion he stirs within her makes him burn for more…

Gianna Santini has one love in her life – work. A disastrous failed marriage was evidence enough to realize she was better off on her own. That is until a handsome Scot strolled into her life and literally swept her off her feet. She is unprepared for the blazing passion between them or the truth he exposes. But as her world begins to unravel, she realizes the only one she can depend on is the very one destroying everything - a Dragon King.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Dragon Burn is a quick and short novella.

I read the prequels #0.1, #0.2, & #0.3 several years ago, but never got back to reading the others in the series. I knew from those prequels that something was going on, but not fully what. My understanding from Dragon Burn is that their is a Dragon trying to expose the Dragons to humans, but the other Dragons don’t want this, so their is a war going on.

Sebastian is one of the Dragon Kings who is looking for information on one of his brother Dragon Kings. Gianna is the personal assistant to the person Sebastian suspects is behind all the troubles the Dragon Kings are having.

Sebastian and Gianna where nice together. The romance is quick and insta-love. The chemistry is fiery. Theirs danger, trust issues, magic, ulterior motives, and a mystery on who is trying to expose the Dragons.

I enjoyed Dragon Burn though I might have enjoyed it more if I had read more books in the series.

  1. Read all in the series and definitely something that I would suggest if not done so already. One needs to read the beginning to get the full story of them all. A great read even though short.
