March 20th: What books are you excited to share with your kids or younger readers in your lives?[/su_note]

I have to say; I’ve not really thought about what I would like to share with my child. I have books from when I was a kid that my parents use to read to me. It would be great to share them, but he may not be interested in them. I want my child to enjoy what we read to him and when he starts reading enjoy what he reads.

To start use off we have Artemis Fowl books. My husband is currently reading these books to my son.

Next up Harry Potter. Ya, we (the whole family) are Harry Potter fans. Here is our collection. Besides the Books/CD’s we have all the movies.

The old collection of books that where read to me when I was young. We have Tales From The Crescent Moon by McNeer Lederer copyrighted 1930, Grimm’s Fairy Tales copyrighted 1988, Tepee Stories by Edward W. Dolch & Marguerite P. Dolch copyrighted 1956, & Aesop’s Fables copyrighted 1963.

What books would you like to share with your kid or young reader?

  1. Maybe one day the HP bug will hit her. ^_^ I’m hoping my son likes HP as much as we do. We went to every midnight showing for the movies. I haven’t read the books, but I did listen to the CD’s. They where great for the long car rides when I had them.

  2. My son is 6 and he seams to be enjoy the Artemis Fowl. I’ve not read them, but my hubby has. Oh another book to movie. Hmmm I might have to look into it. ^_^ Thank’s for stopping in Tammy.

  3. Recently heard Disney is doing Artemis Fowl movie. I haven’t read the books but were looking at them for my nephews. My grandkids are still too young.
