Today’s topic challenge is eBook or Print? Well I love both eBook’s and Print books. They both have their pros and cons, but for me I like having both options and don’t love one over the other. I share my love equally between them.

Ebooks – What I love about them:

  • I can have more then one book wherever I go. I have several apps (Nook, Kindle, OverDrive, Kobo, Audible, Hoople, & Audiobooks) on my phone. I mainly use Kindle or Audible and the library apps like OverDrive or Hoople. But I’ve got books and audiobooks on all the apps.
  • I can read anywhere and don’t have to feel like people are looking at my cover and judging me for what I’m reading.
  • Ebooks are delivered instantly to your device. You can shop from the easy of your device or computer and have the book asap to read.
  • They take up less space. I don’t have to have a bookshelf to store all the ebooks I’ve got.
  • Most ebooks now a days come with some type of bonus content. Who doesn’t like a little extra?

Print – What I love about them:

  • The smell. I love smelling books.
  • The feel. I love having a physical book in my hand. Their is just something about holding all those pages in your hands.
  • It’s easer to flip to the index in a print book then an ebook. I may be stumped on a character or world and having that index to look at helps. It’s much easier going back and forth in a physical book then using the ebook.
  • I can use my favorite bookmark to mark my place.
  • It’s fun to physical brows my library bookshelves. I love my library’s online site, but their is something about walking the bookshelves and seeing/touching those books.

How about you, do you prefer eBooks or Print?

  2. I don’t have a lot of signed copies, but I do love the feel of physical books. I also love the easy of having so many eBooks at my hands. I go either way and like both. Thank’s for sharing what you enjoy!

  3. Even though I read both ebooks and print, I still prefer printed books. I love the feel of a physical book and enjoy collecting signed copies from my favorite authors.

  4. That’s the thing with me I love ? them both. Each has their positive feels to them, so I really can’t choose one over the other.

    1. I do love the convenience of ebooks and that is what I read most of my books on, but I also love having a physical book in my hand too. It’s hard to choose one over the other since I go through stages of what I like to have. Thou I’m never without a book since I have my phone with me which has all the eBooks on it.

  5. I love hard cover and paperbacks because I love holding and reading a brand new book ,it lights up all kinds of lights in my brain. But if I’m honest I like ebooks too!! So many great free and sales so I have a lot of choices!! Shared on all my socials!! ??

  6. You know that audiobooks are my favorite format, but picking between ebooks and print, I have to go ebook. I love being able to highlight and bookmark (like permanently), makes it easy for book reviews. I like that I can carry 1000s of books with me wherever I go. I love that I can read in a restaurant without being judged. I do like having physical books on my bookshelf. The covers are so pretty.

    1. I like ebooks for the easy of having so many with me, not being judged, and highlighting. The physical’s are great too. I go through moods on what I like to have in my hands when reading. I think most of my reading is eBook’s these days, but I do still enjoy a good physical book which I get from my library.
