What can I say except that I’ve got a new favorite Urban Fantasy series.
Venom was action-packed, exciting, suspenseful, mysterious, and full of family. The plot thickens and their is no rest for Gin and gang.
Gin – She’s kick-ass. I love her character. I like digging deeper into her family history and learning more. In, Venom,Gin is starting to dream more about the day her family died. We learn a little bit more about that night, the night her life ended. Fletcher, her adoptive father, was up to something when he gave Gin that folder on her family; because we get a SURPRISE visit from someone in Gin’s past. I have to say I love the new addition and can’t wait to see how that plays out.
Gin and the gang have their hands full in helping Rosyln with a stalker problem. Gin has no problem planning a way to kill the giant, Elliot Slater, Mab Monroe’s head of security. It’s time to see Mab and her gang of evil minions get what’s been coming to them. I have to say the big bang and stick it to you too Mab was superb and well done.
Now our love interest, Owen Grayson. I have to say I’m loving were this is going. It’s slow, steady, and building up to something. It’s not like the relationship with the Detective – Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am. This one feels like it will have depth and something more too it.
Venom is thrilling, action-packed and full of character growth. We get some startling truths and an ending that’s unforgettable. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment.

Challenge (2018): Library Love
Oh yea! I’m glad you are still enjoying this one. I love when Gin meets Owen for the first time. They go through a LOT together over the next dozen (plus!) books.
I’ve finished book 5 and still loving the series. I like Owen. He’s good for Gin and he seams to understand her and who she is, which I like. I can’t wait to learn more about him and see what’s next for those in this series.
I wish I could keep track of my Kindle and Nook books better, so I don’t buy them again. I’ve bought the same book on both devices before and just laugh when I do… I hope you enjoy. I’m having a blast with the Elemental Assassin series. I’ve been using my library for the books which is great, but I did buy Venom in the Veins which book 17 (^_^) when it was on sale, but I’m only on book 6 now, so I have a ways to go.
I came across the first back on one of my shelves! Glad I didn’t buy it again. I have plans to get into this series after the busy holidays. Thanks for the great review.
LOL I like the Pork Pit too and get hungry overtime I read a scene in the place. Sorry Owen isn’t winning you over. I like him so far and feel he’s good for Gin, now I’ve only read up to book 5 and no novellas yet. So I have a way’s to go to get caught up, but I’ll get their.

Ah yes the ex… ^_^ that line total fits what he had with Gin. I’m the same way with Gin. You think she done for and then she surprises you with her resourcefulness, will, or something. Total hooked on this series and loving it.
