Alien Lord’s Captive is book one in the Warriors of the Lathar series by Mina Carter.
It’s a descent start to the Warriors of the Lathar series. It’s a quick read and the romance moves fast. The Lathar are all Alpha sexy warrior aliens. Their race has lost its females and are in need of the opposite sex.
Our heroine didn’t cower. She took the best option with the chooses presented to her. The human women showed these Lathar males that they are capable, strong, and warriors in their own right.
The romance is quick and you feel the heat between our leads. The sexy times where enjoyable. Not much world building in this first book, but I have hope that we will get more. We are also treated to a little drama in that some of the Lathar are purists.
All and all I enjoyed Alien Lord’s Captive.

Ha, I do love the alien alphas seeking females story line. Glad the gals didn’t make it easy on them.
That’s one of the things I like in this series. The women don’t make it easy. I also like learning about the Lathar and it’s world. Thank’s for visiting!
hmmm, not much world building. most of the time i find a lot of world building in the first book of the series. did the author concentrate more on introducing the characters??

This was a while ago in reading. It was more on the quick romance and the women showing the men that they are Warriors too, that they won’t role over and be breeders, but partners. It takes place on a space ship. We do get more world building in the next book and learn more about the Lathar. It’s Sci-Fi. The series got better and I had fun just going into space and seeing the women put these men to the test and show how capable they are. Hope this helps and answers your question. ^_^
