It’s time for the Top 10 of 2020 and we hope you will join in. Thank you to Books of My Heart for hosting the Top 10 of 2020. This year was a challenge for me in reading/listening. It started off well, but then COVID hit and I hit a few reading slumps throughout the year. I did get over 70 audiobooks listened too, but a lot where re-listens. As for my Top 10 Audiobooks of 2020 they are all older titles. I didn’t listen to any 2020 new releases this year. Now for my list in no particular order. (Pictures link to reviews.)
Top 10 Audiobooks of 2020
The Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series I’ve listened to Book 1-3 plus the novellas in-between. I loved each and everyone in the series and have rated them 4 or 5 stars. Lots of fun with the ghosts and our southern girl.
The Shifters Unbound series is one of my favorites. I’ve read all the books, but have not listened and so this year I listened to my favorites in the series.
The Guild Codex Spellbound series has been a great Urban Fantasy series to listen too. I’ve only listened to the first two books, but I loved them. I’m planning on listening on and going into the spin-off series. As I said I’ve been in a slump and new stuff hasn’t much appealed this year.
Kill the Queen was one of my favorite reads in 2018 when it came out. I wanted to see how the audio would be and man it was amazing. I felt like it was the first time reading all over again.
The Night Prince is a series I read when it came out and loved. I love the Night Huntress world and the spin-off series/books. I wanted to see how the audiobooks where and I loved them.
Mercy Thompson sereis. I can’t pick one book. I love them all and this year I re-listened to the series. The audios are so much fun. It felt like the first time reading. Fabulous Urban Fantasy series to read or listen too.
Kate Daniels series. I can’t pick one book. I love them all and this year I re-listened to the series. The audios are fabulous, fun, and enjoyable.
I’d love to hear from you!

I agree. Thank’s for visiting!
Kate Daniels and Mercy Thompson are both so EXCELLENT in audiobook format! Great selections.
The audios where good. A lot of re-listens, but a few first time listens too. Thank’s for visiting!
I just started Marie this year, but only have listened to 2 books. I planned on more, but 2020 has been tough. Mercy is the best! Thank’s for visiting.
Glad to hear you’ve gotten use to Renee Raudman for the Kate Daniels series. I have a series like that where it took me a while to like the voices. It had to grow on me, but I can’t think of the name at the moment.
I haven’t listen to all the Southern Ghost or The Guild Codex, but very good audios. I love the novels in audio for those two series. This year I went back and started listening to Ashley’s Shifters Unbound series. I love the books (reading). I also am doing the same for Estep’s. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Mercy Thompson series. I LOVE it.
I’ve not read/listen to The Three Pines series by Louise Penny. I’ll check it out. Thank’s for visiting and sharing some of your favorites.
Thank you for sharing one of your favorite audios of 2020.
I loved Lisa Kleypas’ Chasing Cassandra narrated by Mary Jane Wells. I’ve listened to it multiple times now and read it once and it remains my 2020 fav. It was released in Feb 2020.
I like the male narrator and the books for The Three Pines series by Louise Penny. Fan of Lorelei King and all of her work, especially her Mercedes Thompson audiobooks. While I haven’t listened to them, I like all of the Southern Ghost series, The Guild Codex books and Jennifer Ashley and Jennifer Estep’s work too.
Not a big fan of Renee Raudman (Kate Daniels series)though I admit with all the many, many voices, many male, it is a tough job. I love the series though so I’ve gotten used to her voice.
I really want to get to those Annette Marie books. They do look great. You’ve listened to some of my favorites, too. I’ve enjoyed doing re-reads in audio for the Mercy Thompson series.
These are some of my favorites! It sounds like a great listening year. Thanks for joining our celebration of top 10s.
