Monthly Wrap Up

Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ Sept. 2023

Welcome To September’s Monthly Wrap Up

I’ve been stressing this month.  The renovation hasn’t started.  We’re still waiting on our permits.  We made some big decisions this month.  We picked and bought our kitchen cabinets.  We bought the tile for our Master Bathroom and Hall Bathroom.

With all the stress and changes I’ve been bing watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix.
No reading.  Still in a slump.

Angel’s Guilty Pleasures blog is having some issues and I finally broke down and worked on it.  As you can see I made a whole new blog with a new name and transferred all my stuff to the new blog.  It was a long and stressful process.  I’m still working on cleaning up the blog, but its up and running.

AYSO soccer has started.  My hubby is coaching and the kid is playing.

Congratulations to all the winners this month!

  1. Yeah reno is seriously stressful even if its for a good end. Hopefully, your permits will go through soon and you can check the kitchen and bath off your list. I love the flooring you picked out. How sweet of your husband to volunteer coach the soccer team. Maybe the bugs will be gone from the blog with this new one.

    Have a good month, Angela1

    1. Reno is stressful. I’m hoping permits are in next week. I’m ready for the work to start and to be moved in.
My husband coach’s each year. It’s something for them to do together beside video/computer games.
No bugs with the new blog. I’m liking the new look, name, and feel of the blog. Thanks for visiting!

  2. Congrats on moving the blog to the new site. It’s a lot of work, but worth it in the long run! Also, how exciting to finalize some choices. I hope you get your permits soon! Happy October.

    1. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that permits are ready next week and they can start putting the house together.
Thanks on the blog. I’m still working on fixing the posts from the move, but it’s nice to have a blog that works.

  3. Hey I finally connected this new blog site to Feedly because the old site wouldn’t come up on my computer. I find renovation exciting but stressful. I’m feeling behind on reading and hope to catch up the next week or so and do some blog ahead. I hope your renovations get going more smoothly. Also, I’m curious to know how you like UBB. I’ve always used it and find it easy but then I know nothing about actually using WordPress or coding.

    1. I’m glad you got the new site connected on Feedly.
I’m keeping fingers crossed that permits come in next week and they can start the work.
I’ve been behind on reading for months. In a slump, but I’m hoping after renovations and the move I get my reading bug back.
I bought the UBB plugin so my books can look better and I can organize better. So far I like UBB. I’m still trying to figure a few things with WordPress/Coding.
