Welcome To October’s Monthly Wrap Up

 

Great news. After two months the city finally approved our permits and work started on Oct.  17th at our house.  The first thing they are working on is shoring up the ceiling, so they can remove a few walls.  Next up is working on plumbing and all new electrical.  We’re happy work has started.  I’m thinking we won’t be moving until after Feb. of next year 2024.

AYSO soccer is still going.  Our kids team has only lost one game this year.  They are doing great and having fun.  I’m enjoying just watching the games this year and not having to attend practices and coordinate snacks.  This year I just get to be a mom who watches.

I hope everyone found the new blog.  I’ve been plugging away at using the Ultimate BB plugin for my reviews, so I’m seeing my old reviews again and wow you can see the change over the years in my writing.  I’m make sure all the book information and buy links are their and updated.  I’m also makeing sure we have a featured picture for the posts on the blog.  All that stuff didn’t transfere over, so I’m having to individual update all posts that got transferred over.

We’re coming to the end of the year and I’d like to point out you still have time to join and participate in the Library Love Challenge.

  3. Yea!! So exciting. I look forward to seeing the progress and watching your house become your home.

    I applaud all the effort it take and time you are putting into the new blog. I know I have a lot of really old posts that are poorly formatted, missing images, don’t have a feature picture, etc. But at this point, I’ll only fix it if I come across it! Good for you for being proactive.

    1. I’m trying to get the reviews updated. As for the rest if they pop up I’ll update the formate and add a picture, but not going out of my way. The review’s are priority.

      Yes, the house is coming along. I can’t wait for it to be done, but still a lot to do. I’ll keep posting pictures as the project moves along. Thanks for visiting and happy reading!
