Best Book You Read In 2023?
Magic Claims by Ilona Andrews. LOVE the author. LOVE their work. Re-read over and over.
Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?
I’ve got nothing for this one.
Best series you started in 2023? Best Sequel? Best Series Ender of 2023?
Best Series: I started is Black Hat Bureau by Hailey Edwards.
Best Sequel: I read would be Legacy of Magic by Lindsay Buroker. It’s set in the same world as Death Before Dragons and the lead in DBD will show up in LoM.
Best Series Ender: I have only finished one series or I should say am up to date on the Kate Daniels world so I’d pick Magic Claims for this one.
Favorite new author you discovered in 2023?
Kevin Hearne author of The Iron Druid Chronicles. I’ve only listened to the prequel and loved it. Plan to listen on just got busy in real life and listening became hard and that’s how I want to enjoy the series.
Book You Read In 2023 That You Would Be MOST Likely To Re-Read Next Year?
Magic Tides and Magic Claims I will most definitely re-read well I’m going to listen to the audiobook.

Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?
The most challenging thing this year was when my blog stoped connecting to my hosting site. My followers couldn’t get to my site due to issues. So, I ended up moving everything to WordPress and that took time. The posts which are over 3,500 still need to be updated and that takes time.
As for reading the most challenging thing is writing reviews on the books I read. I used to be very good at getting reviews written, but now not so much. I’ve got about 140 books still not reviewed that I’ve read. This is why I’m stopped requesting ARC’s.
Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?
I did complete reading challenges. I do so well at the beginning of the year then I don’t, but I always have good intentions to hit my goals.
Check out my 2023 Reading Challenges.
Looking Ahead
One book you didn’t get to in 2023, but will be your number 1 priority in 2024?
Fourth Wing… Everyone is talking about this new series. Archangel’s Light… I need to get caught up on the Guild Hunter series. And, last but not least The Iron Druid Chronicles.
Book you are most anticipating for 2024 (non-debut)?
Any Ilona Andrews releases and the release of Winter Lost.
One thing you hope to accomplish Or do in your reading/blogging life in 2024?

I haven’t finish any series this year but I did read some great books.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
My year in books
Fun! The best series ender (and re-read) was A Curse of Krakens by Kevin Hearne. So amazing! I’m also tackling Fourth Wing in 2024! And more of my TBR (less review titles).
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
I’ve stoped review titles all together. I’ll use my library to check out authors. I’m hoping to nock of stuff on my TBR and books I already own. Use KU less. We will see. I’m challenging my self to stay on-top of reviews for 2024 on the books I read. Thanks for stoping by and I look forward to your thoughts on Fourth Wing.
