Dragon’s Captive is book one in the Her Royal Dragon Pack series by Alex Lidell.
This was a hard one to read and get into. It features a master/servant theme. We have slavery and abuse.
Know one is nice to our lead heroine, Kit. She’s mistreated and sold over and over. Everyone is a jerk and no one is nice to Kit at any point and yet, she ends up feeling things for these four dragons who bought her; even though she isn’t the one who will be their bride.
No world building. No character building. Lots of erotic reverse harem.
It just didn’t care for Dragon’s Captive. It had so many cringe worthy moments that bothered me. I did finish it, but will never return.

Dragon’s Bride is book two in the Her Royal Dragon Pack series by Alex Lidell.
This one was a bit easier to read, but still has moments that are hard to read.
Kit’s role is changing, but still lots of secrets. Kit is still holding back and we see at the end her confidence grow, but this one is a slow read. It’s a dangerous journey over the Ocean, but it gives them time to play. Lots of spice.
Dragon’s Bride was just ok. Still not great and I won’t read again. I still had issues with things in the story.

Dragon’s Mate is book three in the Her Royal Dragon Pack series by Alex Lidell.
Kit is in the trials now to be a bride with multiple groups playing against her and her dragons.
This one had a lot of surprises and an evil plot. We actually learn a lot and have a lot of erotic times. We also have a surprise at the end and a cliffhanger.
I still had trouble reading this one. It had some one scene a BDSM in front of an audience and forced sex. It’s a bit much for me.
Dragon’s Mate was ok, but again I won’t be reading again and I won’t be finishing the series. I’m done. Just not for me.

Looks like you gave it a good chance by reading the first three, but sometimes you just have to throw in the towel. Gorgeous covers, though!
I agree sometimes its time to move on. I picked it up because of the covers and it has dragons plus I was in a Reverse Harem mood, but unfortunately to much didn’t work for me. Thank you for visiting!
