I’ve been in a reading slump. It’s been a bummer, but I’ve been watching a lot of K-Dramas and really enjoying several of them. They are all subtitled, so I’m getting a little reading in ^_^! iQIYI is all Asian dramas. I also watch on Netflix and Amazon Prime, but iQIYI has a lot more options.
NETFLIX
The Double – OMG I LOVE this drama! Strong lead heroines are a must. I love the mystery and slow-burn romance.
Jinyan Wu plays Xue Fang Fei who is betrayed by her husband and loses everything and is believed murdered. She is in fact alive and seeks justice for her and another young lady who died.
Vincenzo – Well just look at the lead male. HAWT! Ok I really enjoy his brand of justice and the residence at the place he owns are so fun.
Vincenzo Cassano is employed by a Mafia family as a consigliere, but soon leaves to return to his homeland and finds himself involved with lawyer Hong Cha Young.
Judge Dee’s Mystery – I’ve been on a mystery kick. I enjoy romance, but sometimes you just need a good mystery and this one delivers.
A brilliant investigator incurs the wrath of a shadowy foe when he travels to a border town to tackle crimes and misdeeds on behalf of Empress Wu Zetian.
iQIYI
Moon Love – Romance and healing. I’m enjoying.
Yun Chaoyan, a girl who is “haunted by the renegade immortal”, happens to meet Ren Shique, the lunar god who “recaptures the renegade immortal”.
Follow Your Heart – This one has mystery, romance, and humor. I binged this drama and really enjoyed it. The show captured me.
The series tells the romantic love story of Jiang Xinbai, a cold and aloof prince suffering from face blindness who is determined to eliminate the “Zornia grass” from the world, and Yan Nanxing, a passionate female traveling doctor who “transforms” every month.
Mysterious Lotus Casebook – I binged watched this show. So good! I enjoyed the mystery’s and the message of healing.
It tells the story of Li Xiangyi, the renowned leader of the Sigu School in the martial arts world, who is severely injured in a major battle. He retreats from the martial arts world and becomes a humble physician named Li Lianhua.
Strange Tales of the Tang Dynasty – I binged this series. Great characters. Enjoyable mysteries.
Commander Lu of imperial guards works with sheriff Su who is detective Dee’s last disciple on many different investigations. Keeping the tang Dynasty safe.

I don’t know any of those shows but my daughter might. I just read more than watching tv. I wish I had more time to watch the Olympics though.
We just don’t have regular TV now, so I can’t see the Olympics. I’ve been checking the news for updates especially with Gymnastics. I’d be watching it. ^_^ I’m still in my slump with reading. Nothing is grabbing me these days and I’ve been reluctant to pick up books, but I do keep trying. Thanks for visiting!
