Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. The hop takes place weekly, starting on a Friday and concluding the following Thursday. Each week features a specific prompt that poses a book-related question for participants to address. The primary aim of the blog hop is to facilitate connections among bloggers, encouraging them to follow one another, explore new book titles, and increase their audience. This weeks prompt 13th – 19th – Do you set a monthly budget for books? If yes, what amount? Have you ever exceeded your limit? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
No! I’m good about not over buying. I only have a select few authors that I order and for all the other books I look to my library. If the book from the library WOW’s me and I feel I’ll read again, then I’ll buy.
I’d love to hear from you!
What’s your answer?

I think last year or the year before I tried to set a monthly budget. That didn’t work. I am trying this year to limit myself to buying 1 or 2 books a month instead of a set $ amount.

Limiting the number of books is good. I’m not a budget person and I only buy from select authors and only those books I know I’ll read/listen to again. Thanks Lisa for visiting and sharing.
Yeah, that’s about how I do book buying, too. Only favorites and my print or audio purchase copies are only for re-reads.
Thanks for visiting and sharing.
I don’t actively buy books. I use my library, Libby and have plenty of ARCs from NetGalley
Good job. That saves a lot on funds. Thanks for visiting and sharing.
I do not have a budget. I mostly only buy favorites that I’ll read again or things I can’t get at the library.
I’m the same. Thanks for visiting.
