What are you currently reading/listening?

I started listening to Witchwood.  I read Caffeinated Reviewers review for Witchwood and it sounded good.  It’s spooky season and I enjoy Witchy reads around this time of year. 

 

What did you recently finish reading/listening?

Listened to Warping Minds & Other Misdemeanors.  I’m getting a head start on the 2026 Read-Along hosted by Books of My Heart.  This is my first time listening to The Guild Codex: Warped series.  I enjoyed this first installment.  It’s fast-paced, humors, and a great start for the character Kit.

 

What do you think you’ll read/listen to next?

Well I picked up Apprentice To The Villain & The Teller of Small Fortunes from my library.  I read a review for The Keeper of Magical Things from Books of My Heart and it sounded interesting, so I checked to see if the author had other books and saw she did; The Teller of Small Fortunes.  As for the Villain series; I loved book one and so, I’m glad the audio is available at my library for book 2.

  1. I enjoyed the first book, too! I’m listening to Violet Thistlewaite Is Not a Villain Anymore by Emily Krempholtz, Narrated by Emma Ladji and it’s lots of fun!

  2. I jumped out early on the readalong, too, and agree that the Warped series got off to a great start. I want to read that Teller of Small Fortunes, too.

    1. I just started Teller of Small Fortunes this morning. No opinion, yet, on it.
      Ya, I don’t know how much free time I’ll get now that the Holidays are coming, so I had to get ahead start on the 2026 Read-Along. The last 3 months I have a lot of family visiting in and out, so getting books in can be hard.

    1. I’m trying to get a little head start for 2026 Read-Along. Holidays are coming and family will be visiting in and out these last few months of 2025, so who knows how much listening I can get in. I did read you’re review for Teller of Small Fortunes, so that is why I picked it up to give it a try. It sounded good. Thanks for visiting!
