Happy National 💌 Letter Writing Day

Not many people spend the time to write a hand written letter now that we have email, but I still write thank you cards for gifts and have encouraged my kid to do the same. I remember getting hand written letters from my grandparents and I loved it. My mom still sends a note now and then, but it’s not popular anymore.

I remember when I was a teenager I signed up for pen pals for all kinds of things. From other countries, in the Astronomy magazine for kids, etc. I loved writing letters!

Oh I remember that. It was elementary school for me. It’s sad that the school’s no longer do pen pals. Writing letters was a great way to work on handwriting. Thanks for sharing your experience and visiting.
