What did you recently finish reading/listening?
Back in early December I finished The Vampire and the Case of the Wayward Werewolf (The Portlock Paranormal Detective #1). Check out my review here. I took a three week break for the Holidays. To much family no time to dive into anymore novels.
What are you currently reading/listening?
I’m started the New Year off slow with sweet cozy. The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. I bought the hardcover; because it’s so pretty, but I’m listening to the audio from my library. Many book friends have read or listened and enjoyed. I thought I’d try this new-to-me author.
What do you think you’ll read/listen to next?
Up next is going to be the next book in the 2026 Read-Along for Annette Marie, Two Witches and a Whiskey.

I bought the Spellshop on audio but have yet to read it. I’ll read 2 Witches a little later in the month so I remember it well enough for the chat. lol
The Spellshop is sweet, cozy and slow. I had trouble at the start because of how slow it is, but it gets better. I’m enjoying the audiobook. Looking forward to your thoughts whenever you listening to it. I’m slow on my audio listens, so I need to get those in before the post dates. ^_^ Thanks for visiting and sharing!
I have the Spellshop on audio too. Your paranormal detective series has me curious. I will look for book one on audio.
My library (hoopla) has the prequel and the books for the paranormal detective series. I enjoyed the first book and will continue on. The Spellshop is sweet, cozy and slow. I had trouble at the start, but it gets better still slow. I preferer action filled, but slow cozies can be comforting. Thanks for visiting and sharing. Looking forward to your thoughts.
