Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. The hop takes place weekly, starting on a Friday and concluding the following Thursday. Each week features a specific prompt that poses a book-related question for participants to address. The primary aim of the blog hop is to facilitate connections among bloggers, encouraging them to follow one another, explore new book titles, and increase their audience. This weeks prompt – Feb. 6th – What drives you to read books? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee-Addicted Writer)
My Answer: This question really made me stop and think. What I enjoy most is the ability to travel to magical new worlds and dive headfirst into the action and adventure our characters experience. I have a deep love for Fantasy and all the imaginative places it can take us. Sometimes, I just need that escape; it’s my personal moment to relax, vanish, and leave the stresses of everyday life behind.
I’d love to hear from you!

I also enjoy diving into new worlds and having a break from reality. I like that a book can transport you to places you haven’t visited so that you feel like you’ve been there, too!
There’s nothing like being transported to new places. Thanks so much for visiting and sharing your thoughts, Rachel!
Well said. I love getting swept away into a new world, meeting new people, falling in love via the characters, and to escape from the world for a bit.
There’s nothing like getting swept away. Happy Reading!
I like the time to relax and learn new things, feel new things.
It’s always a pleasure to have you visit, Anne! 💖 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this week’s prompt. I totally agree—there’s nothing quite like that feeling of relaxing and learning something new through a great story. Happy reading!
Reading is also where I find comfort. There’s something grounding about opening a book at the end of a long day and knowing I’ll be absorbed by a story that asks nothing of me except to show up and turn the page.
I agree with what you said Kat. Thank you for sharing and visiting.
