Do you like spoilers? Do you read the last chapter first?
I’m definitely “Team No Spoilers!” I love the thrill of a good surprise! I’ve never been the type to peek at the last chapter; for me, the magic of reading is all about discovering the story as it unfolds. I really appreciate it when reviewers use spoiler warnings or hide them behind tags so I can choose whether or not to look. When I write my own reviews, I aim to keep them spoiler-free, but if I do include any, I always make sure to lead with a clear warning. I know some readers love knowing the ending ahead of time, but I think the journey is much more enjoyable when the destination is still a mystery!
Now it’s your turn!
Let me know in the comments below your thoughts!

I love those spoiler tags that can hide part of the review, too, so I have options. Although, I do get FOMO and am highly tempted to know what is behind the hidden door…
I’m so glad for those “hide” tags! But I totally get the FOMO—it’s hard not to peek when you know the secret is right there. ^_^ Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
Agreed 100%. I also tag anything I consider to be a spoiler in my reviews. Once and a while I will give a big spoiler (hidden or marked) because I had such an issue and DNF’d or gave a low rating – so I feel I need to be clear on why.
I agree. Sometimes on those DNF’s you have to give a spoiler to explain why you did the DNF. Thanks for visiting!
I am with you. No spoilers. In fact, for favorite series I go in blind, just in case the blurb reveals too much..lol
Ooo, I still have to read the blurb! I just can’t bring myself to go in totally blind, even with a favorite series. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and for visiting, Kimberly!
I will go for a spoiler if the story is stressing me out. Not knowing and stressing makes me enjoy the story less.
I totally understand that! For me, though, even if I’m stressing out, I still have to avoid those spoilers. I just love the thrill of the surprises in a story too much! Thanks so much for sharing your perspective and for visiting, Rachel!
I’m also Team No Spoilers and never read the ending first.
I’m right there with you—I never read the ending first either. Go Team No Spoilers! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and for visiting, Anne!
