Welcome to another week of the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by the wonderful Coffee Addicted Writer. If you’re new here, this weekly event kicks off every Friday and runs through the following Thursday. It’s all about bringing our community together through a fun, bookish prompt. It’s a fantastic way to discover new titles, meet fellow bibliophiles, and grow your own circle of readers! Check out the 2026 Prompts to see what else is in store for the year!

This weeks prompt ~ Aug. 14th: Is there a book you keep coming back to, reading it more than once?
My Answer: Absolutely! I have a few go-to comfort reads that I re-read regularly. Whenever I’m stuck in a reading slump or just craving a familiar favorite, I immediately reach for G.A. Aiken’s Dragon Kin series or anything by Ilona Andrews—especially Kate Daniels, The Innkeeper Chronicles, and Hidden Legacy.

What about you? What’s your book that you keep coming back to?

Yep! I’ve re-read the Ilona Andrews ones. I got to the Dragon Actually late (just two years ago).
Thanks for sharing the books you keep coming back to!
I’ve re-read quite a few of Diana Palmers books more than once.
Nice! Thanks for sharing the books you love coming back to!
OMG! Yes to ALL the Ilona Andrews books! Kate Daniels and Co take up a special place in my heart! Other books I also keep coming back to Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter series.
Oh, I’ve relistened to a few Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter novels myself! They are definitely good, but not quite full go-to comfort reads for me. Ilona Andrews will always be that absolute staple I can keep coming back to over and over again! Thanks for stopping by, Elizabeth!
Ilona Andrews is always a great choice.
I completely agree! Ilona Andrews is a comfort author for me—I can always jump back into their series and enjoy every moment. Thanks for stopping by, Anne!
