if the real world worked like a romance novel, i’d have to write fantasy.
i like to combine romance with a bit of ridiculousness, both in real life (my lucky husband) and in my books. i write romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance because relationships in all of their forms and drama are fascinating. i find, however, that i am glad that what happens in the romance novels stays in the romance novels, and much more successfully than vegas, or the news would read more like a bad reality show! hmm…perhaps not such a bad idea after all…?
