**Paige's Warriors is set in the Bondmates Universe and can be read as a stand alone, though for the most enjoyment the series should be read in order**

After a lifetime of war, Commander Trenzent has left behind the bloody battlefields of the Bel'Tan galaxy and traveled to Earth in the hopes of finding his bondmate. He can only pray that the one woman in the universe who can save his battered soul can look past his scarred exterior to the man within. Unfortunately for Tren, his potential bride is terrified of men thanks to years of abuse at the hands of her father and won't be easy to seduce.

Paige Grant is pretty sure she's losing her mind obsessing about a man who doesn't exist. Ever since the night a wormhole opened up next to Jupiter she's had these intense dreams about a terrifying, damaged man who awakens a passion inside of her she never knew existed. Despite his grim exterior, he makes her feel safe and cherished, something she desperately needs.

But Trenzent isn't the only Kadothian warrior who believes Paige is his bondmate. An old political enemy and one time lover of Tren's, Lord Rell Thantos, also believes the sweet and shy young Earth woman holds the missing part of his soul. He will do whatever it takes to win her heart, even if it means being bonded to the same woman with a man who hates him.

The men will have to find a way to get past their anger and work together to protect Paige against an unknown enemy who is determined to keep the women of Earth out of the Bel'Tan Galaxy forever.

Warning- This story is set in the Bel'Tan galaxy where polyamorous relationships are the norm and love in all of its forms is accepted including M/M, M/M/F, M/M/M/F, M/M/F+M/M sexual situations hot enough to melt your panties.

Paige’s Warriors is book two in the Bondmates series by Ann Mayburn. Even though it says book three it is actually the second full length novel in the series. It’s an erotica romance set in an alternate world with seductive alien men and multiple partners. It’s a steamy romance and can be read as a stand-a-lone, but for the best enjoyment I recommend reading in order.

We meet Paige in Casey’s Warriors. I have to say I’ve been wanting to read about Page since the moment she popped up. Her past was brutal. Abused and miss treated by her father, someone who is supposed to protect and love her, so to say she is a little damaged and affected by this doesn’t even begging to describe her issues. Tren was also brutally damaged, but by war and the long years of not finding his bondmate.

The story-line is exciting, explicit, and sultry. We get danger on many fronts that our characters must navigate along with a special treat in seeing what Paige’s special ability will be after her bonding. It was phenomenal watching both Tren and Paige, develop, grow, and change. You can feel them both healing and find themselves along with Rell, Tren’s bloodbrother. The sex is of the charts hot and sizzling. The author did an exceptional job writing the sensual moments; which range from M/F, M/M/M/M/F, and more.

Their was one thing that gave me pause. It was when Tren talks about the growth regiment for human women who are bonding with their Kadothian men. It’s explained well and ya, the Kadothian’s are big in more way’s then one, but I don’t think someone should change for another even their soul mates. This one thing didn’t deter me from enjoying the story.

Last, the set up for the third book was very well done, actually it’s a cliffhanger, so be warned.

Paige’s Warriors captured me from the first to the last page. I couldn’t put the book down and I’m really enjoying the world and erotic sci-fi romance that the author has created. I’m looking forward to continue the Bondmates series; especially after the ending in this novel.

Rated: 4.5 Warriors Stars

About Ann Mayburn

With over forty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she’s been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened.

From a young Ann has had a love affair with books would read everything she could get her hands on. As Ann grew older, and her hormones kicked in, she discovered bodice ripping Fabio-esque romance novels. They were great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as muchd etail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she’s never looked back.

Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her ‘sexy space’ and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD.

Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she’s weird, and that sarcasm doesn’t translate well via text. You can find her at:

  1. This author was new to me until last month. I found her Bandmates on NetGalley and requested. I don’t read many Erotic ScFi’s and I’m very very particular about the ones I will pick up. I’m happy with her books and can’t wait for more. Thank’s for stoping by and checking out the review.
