Book Tag: Would You Rather?

I ran across this book tag on Rantings of a Reading Addict and she found it at Sincerely, A Book Nerd. Stop on by both sits and see what they had to say to the Would You Rather Book Tag.

Rather read only series or standalone books?

Series books.

Rather read a book whose main character is male or female?

No preferences.

Rather shop only at Barnes & Noble (or other actual bookstore) or Amazon?

Amazon

Rather all books become movies or tv shows?

Hmm… I feel that books that become movies or tv shows don’t live up to the book. But, if I had to choose I’d say tv show.

Rather read 5 pages per day or read 5 books per week?

5 books a week

Rather be a professional book reviewer or an author?

Reviewer. I have no design to be an author. I love reading and moving from one fantasy world to another.

Rather only read the same 20 books over and over or get to read a new book every 6 months?

New book every 6 months

Rather be a librarian or own a book store?

Oh this one’s tough. I like both options. I’d have to go with librarian. I can enjoy all the books, without the hassle of having overhead or pay rent.

Rather only read your favorite genre or your favorite author?

Genre

Rather only read physical books or eBooks?

Oh man another difficult question. I like have both options. eBooks for the simple fact I can carry as many as I want around on one device, but I also love physical books because of the feel and smell. So, if I have to pick I’d stick with physical books even though my hubby dislikes all the physical books in our home ^_^.

This tag had some interesting questions. I’d love to hear your thoughts and answers to the questions!

    1. I had trouble deiced what to answer on some of these questions. It made me think, but it sure was fun! Thank’s Nicole for visiting.

  1. Great book tag that you have here!! I do prefer Amazon over B&N. Although if I want printed books I will sometimes order from The Ripped Bodice since I like supporting their store.

  2. This is such a fun tag! I definitely think that as a whole, TV show adaptations have worked better for me than movies. And series for me too! I do think I’d probably want to be an author, though actually getting paid to review might be fun too. Definitely the librarian though- like you said, too much nonsense in selling books, plus imagine if people kept trying to buy books you wouldn’t recommend, and you’d have to bite your tongue!

  4. Cool tag! I’m glad I’m not married because there’s nobody to complain about all the books. I love my physical books. I’m pretty good at keeping them contained to the shelves and closet, but there are A LOT of them.

    1. He loves his eCopys, but when it comes to physical books its taking up to much space. Now I could understand in an apartment, but I do love my physical books. ^_^ Thank’s AJ for stopping in.

    1. That’s great you enjoy stand alone. I like both stand alone and series books. Most of these questions where a little difficult to deiced on. I had to think about what I read. ^_^ Thank’s Kristin for visiting and sharing with use.

  5. Great post Angela and I guess great minds think alike because most of my answers mirror yours 🙂

  6. I’m a sucker for series, I have too many physical books and not enough book shelves

    1. I’m limited on my book shelf space too, but I make it work at least for now ^_^. Series books are a lot of fun! Thank’s Sabina for visiting.

    1. Well that’s great he was more than happy to help with the library set up with you. Every time I win a physical book or buy one my hubby makes some comment about “more books”. I love books both physical and eCopies, but with the physical if I don’t like it I can give it way to my library or hold a giveaway on the blog for someone who wants it to get it. Always a pleasure having you visit Tanya!

  7. I’m with you on everyone except the last I prefer ebooks because o can have them all with me and find quotes easily and not have to pack them when I move. I love my psychical books and have many many many. Anne – Books of My Heart

    1. ECopies are great, but you can never trade them out, give them away. Once you buy it’s yours for life. With the physicals if I don’t like the read I can donate it to my library or hold a giveaway on the blog for someone else who wants the book can get it. I like both formats and on several of my favorite reads in both physical and eCopy. It’s just so hard to pick. Both formats have their advantages and disadvantages. Thank’s Anne for stopping in.

  8. Rather read only series or standalone books?

    Series books always for me.

Rather read a book whose main character is male or female?

    No preferences at all.

Rather shop only at Barnes & Noble (or other actual bookstore) or Amazon?

Amazon for me or The Book Depository.

Rather all books become movies or tv shows?

    No preference really.

Rather read 5 pages per day or read 5 books per week?

    Five books a week.

Rather be a professional book reviewer or an author?

Reviewer for me. I have no idea how to do a book.

Rather only read the same 20 books over and over or get to read a new book every 6 months?

New book every Six months or sooner.

Rather be a librarian or own a book store?

Hmm…good one. If I owned a book store, I would never work. Just read. A librarian would probably be better so I have time to hide and read.

Rather only read your favorite genre or your favorite author?

Genre for me. I only read PNR.

Rather only read physical books or eBooks?

Both. I have certain series that must be in paperback. Plus, I love the smell of books. I spend as much time reading the paper as I do smelling it. (laughs) Ebooks I also buy pretty much the same amount. I love both.
