Bread: What book is purely fluff, and has no real plot line?

I had trouble thinking of a book for this one. I don’t really read anything without a plot line in it. I my have read a fluff book, but non have come to mind, so I picked a book that had a fluffy feel good feeling to it. The One You Want is a novella in The Original Heartbreakers series by Gena Showalter. It introduces us to Strawberry Valley and several of the townsfolk and new residences.

Turkey: What book made you want to fall asleep?

The latest one was Danger’s Race. The pace was just so slow throughout and the action I’ve come to expect was not their until the last 15% or so.

Gravy: What book makes the whole series worth reading?

All the books in the Kate Daniels series are superb, but Magic Strikes is my favorite.

Stuffing: What book is stuffed full of action scenes?

Practically all the installments even novellas in the Kate Daniels series pack a punch and then I just discovered the Elemental Assassins series and those books are also packed full of action.

Mashed Potatoes: What book looked good, and then wasn’t?

Cranberries: What book has the sweetest romance?

Corn: What’s the corniest book you’ve ever read?

Green Beans: What book is too long and needs to be shortened?

All the books I read are anywhere from 200 to 500 pages and depending on the content that is long enough. I can’t remember reading a book that I felt is too long and needed to be shortened.

Pumpkin Pie: What book do you read to get out of a reading slump?

The Mercy Thompson series, any of Ilona Andrews books, The Pride Series, or The Dragon Kin series. I have a few I like to pick up.

Dog/Cat: What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food that you would steal from the table?

Mash Potatos

  1. I know… right! Poor Mashed Potatoes. I read just that one have not tried an others of Buchman. It was a disappointment. Thank’s for visiting.

  2. I probably should have done some research on Thanksgiving tags. This would have been a perfect post for today. Next year, I guess. I love mashed potatoes, too. I eat tons of them, even when it’s not Thanksgiving.

    1. I’ve been waiting a year to do this one. I found it last year and was “Oh what a great post to do for Thanksgiving”. Glad you enjoyed. Thank’s for stopping in and Happy Thanksgiving.
