The Epilogues: Part I
Groom? Check.
Dress? Check.
Cake? Check.
More cake? Double Check.
Even more cake? Triple check.
(Seriously, who left Lethe alone with Grier's credit card?)Anything that can go wrong has, but all the deposits have been paid, and the menus are set. Mostly. There's always room for more cake, right? All that's left is for Grier and Linus to exchange vows and set off on their honeymoon. Their happily ever after awaits, so close they can taste it.
No.
Wait.
That's probably just more cake. Frosting gets everywhere.
Anyway, there's also murder, arson, and general mayhem. This is what happens when two potentates marry. Just cross your fingers they survive exchanging vows, and that the knot they tie doesn't turn into a noose.
Also in this series: How to Save an Undead Life, How to Claim an Undead Soul, How to Break an Undead Heart, How to Dance an Undead Waltz, How to Live an Undead Lie, How to Wake an Undead City

How to Kiss an Undead Bride was a satisfactory novella that finally gives fans the Wedding they have all been waiting for.
All the players and friends from The Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy come out to play. Two years have past since the ending of the series and now we finally get the Wedding of the century, but someone from Grier’s past is interfering.
Linus and Grier finally tie the knot and we get a little subterfuge plot to keep things rolling along. We and the characters are all looking one way, when someone else comes from the other direction and stabs you in the back. We also see a lot and learn a little more about the gwyllgi pack in Savannah too.
This novella features Lines and Grier’s POV. We also get crossover mentions to the Black Dog, Gemini, and The Potentate of Atlanta series. The Atlanta series is ok, but the other mentions didn’t need to be said. They had no purpose.
As for Grier this isn’t the Grier I remember. In the series she was more independent and fought to gain the knowledge she needs. Here she no longer rides the motorcycle, she no longer is studying necromancy, and didn’t sound like she was taking her role as Potentate seriously. She relies on her genetic memory to help her get out of situations or Linus to handle things.
As for the friendship between Lethe and Grier it felt like Lethe is using Grier to do whatever she wants whenever she wants and Grier is using Lethe so she can have no boundaries. Not a healthy friendship in my opinion.
Now, this book is not designed to be read on its own or before the series. The series is a read in order.
How to Kiss an Undead Bride was all right.

Ya, I’m not a falling for Lethe. I’m also not into a redemption story for Boaz that they author has been hinting at. It was nice to get the wedding, but I’m thinking this series is good where it’s at. We don’t need anymore. Thank’s for visiting.
I’m sorry you didn’t love it. I enjoyed the Linus and Grier part but I am over Lethe. I don’t need any more stories with her in them.
Ya, it was nice to get the wedding, but I don’t know I was hoping for something more, different, not sure what. Sorry you didn’t get into the series. That happens! Thank’s for visiting.
So glad the author gave fans this book, but then what a bummer not to love it. I couldn’t get into the series but I love reading reviews and keeping tabs. Thanks for your review, great to read!
great review. sounds like a real hoot
Thank you!! Hope you get a chance to try the series. It’s fun and interesting.
Fantabulous review Angela!! Shared on my socials!!??
Thank you!! ^_^
I was quite curious about this one but it’s too bad about some of the points you mentionned like Lethe
Ya, it wasn’t as good as the novels in the series. Still it was nice to finally have the wedding.
