#1 New York Times bestselling author Ilona Andrews is back with the newest book in the exciting Hidden Legacy series—the thrilling conclusion to her trilogy featuring fierce and beautiful Prime magic user Catalina Baylor.

An escaped spider, the unexpected arrival of an Imperial Russian Prince, the senseless assassination of a powerful figure, a shocking attack on the supposedly invincible Warden of Texas, Catalina’s boss... And it’s only Monday.

Within hours, the fate of Houston—not to mention the House of Baylor—now rests on Catalina, who will have to harness her powers as never before. But even with her fellow Prime and fiancé Alessandro Sagredo by her side, she may not be able to expose who’s responsible before all hell really breaks loose.

Also in this series: Burn for Me, White Hot, Wildfire, Diamond Fire, Sapphire Flames, Emerald Blaze

Ruby Fever is book six in the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews.

If you haven’t read the series then I recommend you do and you’ll want to start from the beginning. It’s a great Urban Fantasy with lots of action, mystery, amazing world and character building plus a little romance.

Ruby Fever is a non-stop action packed adventure that concludes Catalina and Alessandro’s story ARC. Catalina is the second daughter and took over leading House Baylor in Sapphire Flames, but her story really starts in the novella Diamond Fire.

I loved the prequel, the story, and of course our epilogue. Theirs murder, mayhem, a stressed out spider, a Russian Prince, all the characters we have come to love and enjoy, plus the ever looming battle with Arkan; which comes to a head.

Fans of the Hidden Legacy series will not be disappointed. Much is revealed and questions are answered. Of how glorious the reveals are. I loved it!! We finally learn what Catalina’s black wings mean. Oh My God! And, yes more questions pop up: like will Arabella get her own story? Only the author knows!

As always the Andrews team delivered. So much happens, lives are at stake, and Alessandro and Catalina have to work together along with the Baylor family to keep everyone safe. It’s a roller coaster ride from start to finish.

We are also treated to a wonderful short story at the end called A Happy Goodbye. It’s an adorable short that features a wedding, (not saying who’s), where we learn a little more about everyone and what is happening in their lives. It’s a nice treat and a sweet HEA.

I couldn’t put Ruby Fever down. After I finished I wanted to listen to the audio. I love reading this series, but I also love the audiobooks for it as well. I’m never disappointed when I pick up an Andrews book and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

About Ilona Andrews

“Ilona Andrews” is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)

Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Texas with their two children and many dogs and cats.

They have co-authored several bestselling series, including the #1 NYT bestselling urban fantasy of Kate Daniels, rustic fantasy of the Edge, paranormal romance of Hidden Legacy, and Innkeeper Chronicles, which they post as a free weekly serial. 1. I’m with you on Arabella. I also loved Nevada and ended up enjoy Catalina’s more than I thought I would. She was so shy, but we see her grow into her role as head of House Baylor and into her powers. Thanks for visiting!

  2. I loved Nevada’s trilogy and then was so relieved to adore Catalina’s trilogy, too. I’m crossing my fingers for Arabella to get some books.

  3. Wonderful review – I agree 100%. The storytelling is so amazing and creative. *sigh* I sure hope the authors find it in their hearts to write Arabella’s story.

  4. I like Nevada’s storyline more to thou its hard to compare; because Catalina’s storyline is different. I always liked Arabella and Catalina is/was my least favorite sister in the beginning, but she grew on me. Thanks for visiting!

  5. That’s all we can do is wait and see if they write for Arabella or not. I know they aren’t going with a publishing company, so if they do it might be like the Innkeeper Chronicles series. We can only hope, wait and see. Thanks for visiting!

  6. The Andrews said they didn’t find Arabella’s situation compelling enough for her own storyline once. I would swear though I recently read on their website that they are going to write a book featuring Arabella. It wouldn’t be a trilogy, just one book.

    We’ll see what happens.

  7. Great review, Angel, I can’t wait to read Ruby Fever!

Thanks for sharing it with me and have an amazing day!

    1. I can’t wait to listen to this one. I loved reading it, but I also love the audiobooks for this series too. I hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting.
