Proof of Life is book four in the Potentate of Atlanta series by Hailey Edwards.
I’m loving this series which is a spin-off of the Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy series. You find both series on Kindle Unlimited.
Hadley is training to be the Potentate of Atlanta. It’s got action, suspense, and drama.
We continue the overall ARC of the fae coven trying to take over Atlanta. There are lots of battles, a traitor in the ranks, pack issues, and Midas and Hadley’s relationship.
We see Midas and Hadley work as a team and grow their ever evolving relationship. They are now mates/fiancés. She shares more of herself and secrets with him. It’s not all happy times. Boaz and Addie plus Boaz’s parents come to town. This adds emotional turmoil. We are also treated too Grier and Linus visiting.
Hadley’s connection to Ambrose is growing in ways she didn’t see and it will affect her life. I’m curious to see this development and what it means for Hadley. She also learns a lot in regards to the fae coven and that this problem is more serious than original thought.
Proof of Life was another adventures read. I highly recommend the series and this author.

Sounds like the heroine really grows throughout the series as does the principle relationship. I like when that happens in an urban fantasy.
Interesting
Thank you for sharing your review of Proof of Life, this sounds like a book and series that I will enjoy reading myself
This looks like a promising novel. Thanks for sharing!
So does Boaz redeem himself? He was one of the reasons I couldn’t finish the first series.
I really enjoyed these. I thought I wouldn’t because of the main character but I did.
I thought the same thing, but I ended up really enjoying. Thanks for visiting!
