2023 Year End Reading Challenge Wrap Up

Welcome to my 2023 Year End Reading Challenge Wrap Up

It’s the end of 2023!  I’ve been struggling in my reading and so, I’ve been doing less and less challenges.  I try to complete my goals, but I don’t always.  Let’s see how I did:

My goal for the Thrifty Thursday Challenge was 12 books.  This challenge is all about those free books.  I’ve picked up a lot of free books by one-click with Amazon, so it’s a good challenge.  Unfortunately; I didn’t hit 12 books, but I did get 5 freebies read off my Kindle.

You can see what I read for this challenge here.

The 2024 Thrifty Thursday Challenge hosted by Books of My Heart sign up is live and I’ll be participating again.

My goal for the Craving For Cozies Challenge was Peckish: 1-25 Cozy Mysteries.  So, as long as I read 1 book I completed my goal.  I read 7 books for this challenge.  I’ve been reading more mysteries in the paranormal mysteries genre and enjoying.

You can see what I read for this challenge here.

I will be passing on this challenge for 2024, but if your interested sign up for 2024 is live.

For COYER they did 4 Seasons.  I participated in Chapter 1: It’s a Cold Summer, Chapter 2: Get On Board, & Chapter 3: The Beginning.  I did really good at the beginning of the year, but by Chapter 3 I fell off.  I didn’t set any goals for each Chapter.  I did read a total of 31 books for COYER.

You can see what I read for this challenge here.

The 2024 COYER sign up is live and I’ll be participating again.

For the Audiobook Challenge my goal is Stenographer (can listen while multitasking) 10-15.  I listened to 18 audiobooks in 2024 and completed my goal for Stenographer.

You can see what I listened to for this challenge here.

The 2024 Audiobook Challenge hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer & That’s What I’m Talking About sign up is live and I’ll be participating again.

Last, but not least the Library Challenge that I host along with Books of My heart.  My goal is the Dewey Decimal – Read 12 books for 2024 and I completed this goal by borrowing and listening/reading 12 books.

You can see what I listened to for this challenge here.

The 2024 Library Love Challenge hosted by myself and Books of My Heart sign up is live and I’ll be participating again.

Do you participate in challenges? How did you do?

  1. Hitting the mark with most of them is great. I love how challenges urge me on to finish more in the challenge category even if I don’t hit my goal.

I’ll be joining you for all the ones you’re doing this year so we can cheer each other on.

    Happy New Year, Angela!

    1. I need someone to help cheer me on. RL is getting stressful with the reno and then move coming up plus school for the kid, so I’m going to need the help staying motivated. Thanks for visiting.
      Happy New Year!

    1. I try to be active with SM in different ways. Ya, a lot happened in 2023 and in 2024 we finish the renovation project and move, so not sure how I’m going to do with the blog and my challenges, but I’ll try. Thanks Anne for visiting. Happy New Year!
