Gifts is a Christmas bonus story in the Death Before Dragons series.
It takes place between Books 8 and 9, so if you’re not caught up with the series and don’t like spoilers, you might want to wait to read it. That said, it’s not super spoiler heavy, and you could probably read it even if you haven’t read these books. You just won’t know who all the characters are.

This is a cute Christmas short. Zav is a sweety and I adore what he does for Val. As for Amber, the heroine’s daughter, she’s just awful. I don’t care for for her. Ya, she gives off teenage vibes, but still she’s a brat. Family!
