September 24th: Do you have a series you’ve been meaning to finish but haven’t? Which one/s and why?

OK! Sooo, I have four series I’ve been meaning to finish. I’m in a reading rut and nothing is interesting me. Even my old favorites I just don’t feel like reading.
Jim Butchers The Dresden Files series. Why I haven’t finished this series is because; I didn’t care for Cold Days book fourteen. It tackled a lot, but it went in a direction I didn’t like and had a slow start. I know I’ll get back to the series one day.
Faith Hunters Jane Yellowrock series. Why I haven’t finished this series I just don’t know. Dark Heir is book nine and the last book I’ve read in the series. I was really enjoying the series and found it to be an exciting action-packed adventure. I’ll get back to it one day.
Jennifer Esteps Elemental Assassin series. Why I haven’t finished I just don’t know. I loved The Spider which is book ten in the series. I’m guessing I got distracted with a new book. I’ll get back to it one day.

Lynsay Sands Argeneau series. Why I never finished this series is because; it started to feel repetitive. Same old same old. I really loved the earlier books, but the later ones just didn’t hit it off as much. Plus their is like 36 and counting books in the series. The last one I read was book 23 Runaway Vampire and it was just ok.
How about you!

I still need to actually start the Harry Dresden and Elemental Assassin series.
So many great series to read. I kept hearing good things about the two series and finally picked them up a few years ago, but I’m slow at finishing them. I’ll get it done one day. Happy Reading!
Thanks for posting this. I’ve run into this a time or two.
So many great series to read, but some are just to long and I get distracted. I’ll finish them one day. Happy Reading and thanks for visiting!
I’m in the same boat with the Jennifer Estep book and may even consider it for a Read-along, also Jane Yellowrock and Harry Dresden but I am current on those two. They all may be too long for a year Read-along. I have to think about it.
All the series I picked above the author kept adding. I think I need to pick shorter series to read. I kind stop after book 10 on the good series. I have trouble staying interested after that even if I love the books. Though I plan to one day finish these series. Thanks for visiting!
