I like seeing the Freak Out Tags! They are so much fun! For this one, I’ll only be using books that I have read since July. I saw this tag on Lili Lost in a Book and it was modified by Books, Bones & Buffy from the original Mid Year Freak Out Tag.
Best Books I’ve Read/Listened Since July:

Andrews will always be on a list. Sanctuary was so much fun digging into a side-character from the Kate Daniels series. Next, we have Fair Market Value by Hailey Edwards. I enjoy Edwards work and her creative stories. She writes great Urban Fantasy to read or listen too. Last, was Deader Homes and Gardens a fun mystery full of ghosts, family curses, and a lead character who will make you laugh.
Best Sequels I’ve Read/Listened Since July:

Sanctuary takes a side-character from the Kate Daniels series and adds to his story and the world. I can rave all day about the Andrews writing duo. AMAZING!
New Releases I Haven’t Read/Listened but Want To:

I’m still in my reading slump and so I didn’t get to new releases. I did buy the Hardcover for Primal Mirror and the special Edition Hardcovers for Bloodguard and The Games Gods Play. And, I bought the very Special Limited Editions of Ruined Wings & Stolen Embers off the authors website. The only one I haven’t bought is MacAlister’s novel. All are on my TBR and next to my bed to read. ^_^
Biggest Disappointments:

Sanctuary of the Shadow had such good reviews, but it just didn’t live up to what I was expecting. The special sprayed edges and cover pulled me in. Then we have The Ex Hex. I was expecting more magic since it’s a town with witches in it, but it was more Contemporary and boring. Just dragged on.
Biggest Surprises:
None. Didn’t read much so I didn’t have any.
Favorite New Authors:

I finally read a book by Jack. I’ve had her work on my TBR for a while now. I enjoyed the mythology and magic weaved into the story.
Books That Made Me Cry:
None. Didn’t have any this year.
Books/Audios That Made Me Happy:

Andrews always make me happy. The writing duo have a way with words and weaving stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat, glued to the pages, and wondering what will happen to their characters. Fox and her Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series is so much fun. I love Verity and her side-kick gangster ghost, Frankie. Great for a good mystery and laughs.
Most Anticipated Books for the 1st Half of 2025:

Amber Gambler the Audiobook comes out March 24th, 2025. I like the audiobooks for Edwards and plan to continue this series in audio.
Innkeeper Chronicles Volume 2 Graphic Novel is out January 2nd, 2025. I LOVE anything by Andrews.
I’d love to know your answers or share your most anticipated books for 2025.

I keep seeing The Game of the Gods everywhere and I am intrigued by it! I’m glad to see you did this tag too! It’s a fun one!
Ya I saw the special edition hardcover and was captured by it, so I bought. I’m hoping it’s good. Many have enjoyed on the reviews I’ve read. This is a fun tag!
Thanks for visiting.
I’ve got an ARC of Rebel without Claws and can’t wait to read it!
Ooo you are lucky. I know longer request ARC’s just cause I’ve been in a slump, so I’ll get it at my library or order it. Since it’s a Cross book its going on my shelf so it’s pre-ordered. Thanks for visiting!
I loved Sanctuary and Deader Homes and Gardens, too. Ooo, I’m with you on wanting Clean Sweep Graphic V. 2 as well.
I pre-ordered with my Christmas GC Clean Sweep Graphic Vol. 2. Love me some Andrews. Thanks for visiting!
