Monthly Wrap Up

Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ Dec. 2024

Welcome To December’s Monthly Wrap Up

The start of December was slow. We finished up Tennis and went to the dentist. Winter Break started on the 20th with the Kid getting out at 12:15pm from school and Grandparents arriving by 1pm. We spent Christmas Week backing, puzzling, painting, playing board games, and going for walks in-between all the rain we got. It’s a week full of life and very little down time, so when Grandparents head off to the other family in the area I finally get to chill and breath. I love having family for Christmas and of course the Kid loves it. Family is everything, but they do become a lot and it’s nice to get your space back.

My husband got me an iPad 10th Generation for Christmas. I’ve been playing around with it. Had to make sure all my book apps get download; Hoopla, Libby, Kindle, Audible, Audiobooks, Chirp, & Goodreads. Movie/TV apps and a few brain games; Solitaire, Mahjong, Word Search, Crossword Jam, & Jigsawscapes.

Congratulations to these winners from this month!

  1. It’ s a month with a lot of change from school to break, for work to holiday and the end of a year. You had a good time with it along with family and now it’s back to some routines for the new year, which is also good.

    1. Routine is good. Kid is starting to get board with the time off. We’re ready for school and after school activities. Dec. was a good month and very nice that grandparents could come for the Holiday. It’s always nice. Have a great January and thanks for visiting!

  2. Happy New Year! Sounds like a good end to 2024. I understand what you mean about having your own space back. My kids are both home until January 20th and I miss having a clean house – but love having them home! I hope you have a wonderful month ahead.

    1. Christmas and New Years went fast this year. Probably because we did so much and had so much fun. Now I’m looking forward to 2025, chaining my reading habit so I can kick my slump and travel in the summer. Thanks for visiting and Happy New Year!

  3. What a wonderful, but busy month of December for you! Your book review list looks great for January!

    1. It was a wonderful Christmas/New Year. I read the first 3 books in Witches of Night Meadow series by V.Vaughn and enjoyed. I gave Called by the Bear Volume One a chance, but that one didn’t hit it off. Thanks Mary for visiting! Happy New Year
