From slave to stolen – I’m the bait in an extortion scheme, but will I capture my thieves instead?
In my old life, I was a slave beholden to my impersonal alien masters. But when my master dies and I’m put on the auction block, I wonder what life will hold in store for me.
I don’t expect to be stolen. Taken from the auction house and used as the bait in a cat-and-mouse scheme by the four-alien crew of the ship Majesty's Soldiers. They are slaves of a different sort, and now they seek to use me to gain their freedom.
None of us expect to fall in love.
My life before was dull and fearful, yet now as their captive I’m free and loved. Their hearts come to be as important as my own. But only trading me away will save their lives.
I’ll sacrifice everything for my four men. Even if that means going into the hands of the powerful, terrifying man who wants my life.
If only I can convince my thieves not to rescue me from their own scheme.
Romance awaits in this standalone novel in the Cherished Galaxy universe where the men will do anything to protect their woman. Continue on for a medium-burn romance with aliens that look like aliens, fated mates, and MM relationships.

Diamond Girl is book one in the Cherished Galaxy by Cady Austin.
At first glance it looks like it would be a good erotic science fiction romance, but you soon see it’s not believable.
Our heroine, Beth, knows and understands human concepts way too much for a girl who was taken at the age of 8-years-old and has barely spoken in the last 15 years. She explains her native language too well. She understands the concept of friends with benefits and other concepts she wouldn’t have even known about when she was taken. She was never around another adult human, so how does she know?
The story started off good, but it got old fast. There is lots and lots of hawt sex. Many clichés. And, her falling in love with any of the men that have her was just too fast and unrealistic.
In the end, Diamond Girl didn’t work for me. It lacked in many areas. If the blurb intrigues you, I urge you to give it a shot. Just because it did not work for me does not mean it won’t for you.

Wow, you finished one that I probably would have DNFed if it was that bad for me. But at least you can let us know exactly what didn’t work. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I’m surprised I didn’t DNF. Thanks for checking out my review.
Bummer that it didn’t match up with the situation it was supposed to be or that much didn’t make sense.
Thanks for checking out my review. Have a great June.
Sounds like a big nope from me. But hey, it’s one less book on the TBR!
Yep!
