Top Ten Tuesday: Books with a High Page Count

Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is all about books with high page counts, aka the doorstopper books!  Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.  It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  If your interested in joining in the Top Ten Tuesday you can find the topics here.

  1. I used to read books with high page counts without batting an eye (looking at you Outlander series) and I’ve read a few here and there lately, but mostly I seem to avoid them lately or the books I’m most into are around the 300-350 range.

  2. From memory, I would say that there were some pretty heavy (page count) books in the Harry Potter series, and I’ve read them all. I’ve also read Fourth Wing (and the follow up), Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, Lover at Last, and The Aeronaut’s Windlass (and its follow up). I know one of the books in Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld was over 500 pages, too.

  3. I’ve read Fourth Wing and the following books, plus Aeronaut’s Windlass and its sequel and Breaking Dawn. I want to read both the Shannon and Maas books. I own the Maas book on audio, the whole series and will tackle it at some point.

    1. I jumped on the Twilight band wagon and read them as they came out. I still enjoy the movies now and then. The books where good when I read them. Thanks Rosie for visiting. Have a wonderful week!
