Monthly Wrap Up

Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ Sept. 2025

Welcome To September’s Monthly Wrap Up

HAPPY OCTOBER!
(Links lead to IG!)

The first week of September was busy. We had doctor appointments and lots of soccer. Practice is on Tues. & Thur. evenings. We had a Game Wed. evening. And, Opening Ceremony (IG) for soccer on Sat. Then our game was on Sun.

The cleaners come the first of the month to cleaning for me. I clean throughout the month, but I really hate cleaning the bathrooms, so I have cleaners come once a month. This time was scary! Our hall bathroom shower door (IG) exploded while one of the cleaners was in their cleaning. She got a few cuts, but nothing serious that she would have to go to the hospital. Our cleaning that day took longer. What a day!

I did a thing! I Bought a stamp (IG) from https://stampedpages.com/ that says “From The Library of Angel’s Book Nook”. I’m going to stamp a few of my books. Panda turned 5-years-old on Sept. 11th of course that is also the day to remember the towers in the US.

The second week of Sept. We had Piano Lessons on Monday after school. Soccer Practice on Tues. and Thur. evening and Tennis has started for after school on Wed. Last, my kid and I got our Flu-Shot on Fri. after school. This time neither of use got sick, hurt, or where achy that evening or next day.

The third week of Sept. Our weather changed and instead of nice cool fall weather we hit 80+ degrees. Eh! We volunteered on Saturday at the AYSO Snack Shack, my son also completed his Referee Training so, he can referee the younger kids in AYSO, and we also had an evening game as well that day. The team won 5-0. My hubby flew out Sunday to Chicago for a work thing for the week, so I missed the Read-Along chat I was planning to attended. I should make next months. The last and final book so far in the Innkeeper Chronicles series.

The fourth week of Sept. we had multiple doctors appointments. My kid has been complaining his feet are hurting, so we visited his doctor on Monday. He’s growing so fast his body can’t keep up. Doc said to ice when it hurts. We volunteered again at the AYSO Snack Shack on Saturday. We had a quiet week.

*For social media I deleted my Mastodon account, so if you only followed me their please pick a different social option.  I wasn’t a fan of the site and didn’t use it much.  I preferer to social with you on Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky or the blog.

*I purchased FS Poster to share old posts and I can also schedule to share pictures on my social medias. I used to use Revive Social plugin (free), but I couldn’t share to all social media. It only gave me one option to share to social media and you have to purchase to get the others. I did try the purchase, but couldn’t get it to work for my blog, so I went with FS Poster. Much better and easier to use.

  1. Oh my goodness! The shower door thing sounds scary! I would like to hire someone to come once a month to clean my house. I hate cleaning floors, the linoleum in my kitchen has lots of little indentations that are horrible to clean. If I don’t clean constantly, like almost daily, then I almost have to get down and scrub like Cinderella, lol. I also remember when I got my middle school teaching certification and one of the things we talked about is all the different pains kids have at that age as their bodies are growing. Growing pains are a real thing! Hope you have a good October!

    1. Ya, the growing pains have been hard on our kid; especially since he does sports. The shower door was scary, but I’m glad know one was majorly hurt.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great October.

  2. That shower thing is scary! Glad she was okay. I have cleaners that come once per month, too. Sounds like a good month overall. I still have my Mastodon account, but I can’t tell you the last time I’ve visited it. Not sure if it is doing any good or not. Happy October!

    1. The shower incident was scary. Just glad know one was seriously hurt. It was a nice month. I rarely used Mastodon or checked it, so I just left it. I still have X but I don’t check it and I have WordPress set to post my posts and that’s it.
Thanks for visiting Jen. Have a wonderful week!

  3. Your kiddo is at the age when there is so much to see and do together. I love that you are doing music, soccer, and volunteering at the soccer program. Whew, what a scare for your house cleaner. Glad she wasn’t injured badly.

    Have a good October, Angela!

    1. We’re glad it wasn’t worse and just a scare. We know what went wrong and once the new door is installed it should happen again. It’s been great getting the kid to volunteer and help out the community. Thanks for visiting!

  4. Wow you did a lot this month, busy. I’m glad FS Poster is working for you. It took a little to set up but has been working well for me once I got the setup completed. Thanks for joining me in the Read-alongs.

    1. I like FS Poster so far. It took a bit of getting used too, but it’s good. Thanks for letting me know about it. It was a busy month. More then I expected. Now things should be slowing down for the rest of the year. No trips only family visiting for Kid Birthday and Christmas. Have a great October Anne.
