What did you recently finish reading/listening?
I finished Blameless, Mystic Justice, and The Vampire and the Case of her Dastardly Death. I’ve been devouring the Parasol Protectorate. I’m surprised with how much I’m enjoying the Steampunk genre which is new-to-me. I love the Paranormal Mystery Thriller, The Other Detective Series, written by Heather G. Harris. Can’t wait for the other novels to be published in audiobook. I’ve had my eye on the Portlock Paranormal Detective series and since my library has them I’m giving them a go. This 1st one is the novella introduction to our lead heroine and I recommend reading the #0.5 before diving into book 1.
What are you currently reading/listening?
The 1st full length novel in the the Portlock Paranormal Detective series, The Vampire and the Case of the Wayward Werewolf.
What do you think you’ll read/listen to next?
The Spellshop has been on my radar since it’s release and I bought the hardcover; because of it’s gorgeous cover. I’ve read some positive reviews, so I’m thinking this will be my next listen.

Neat that you’re binging the Parasol Protectorate series. I’m planning to read the prequel series that technically released after these for one of my series challenges in 2026. Ooh, your other two paranormal mystery finds look good, too.
I’ve been on a paranormal mystery kick lately. I’m enjoying everything so far I’ve listened too.
The Spellshop looks very interesting. I am still listening to Ember Eternal by Chloe Neill, but I will be in the car about 3 hours tomorrow, so I should finish it. I’m looking forward to reading (a re-read) The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year for book club. I love that book.

Your welcome. I’m enjoying doing this post. Paranormal and Urban Fantasy are my genres though I’m trying to add new stuff in. The Steampunck aspect is new and I’m enjoying that added to my story. Thanks for visiting!
