Reading Wrap-Up: June 2026 Challenges & Stats Update

I’ve officially signed up for eight reading challenges this year! From the TBR Tackle and Beat the Backlist to Library Love and COYER, my schedule is packed. My main mission for 2026? Making the most of my local library and finally conquering that ever-growing TBR pile.

The June Files: Tracking the 2026 Reading Chaos

A look at what kept my ears busy this last month.

🎧 Slaying Monsters for the Feeble
🎧 A Little Warped
🎧 The Alchemist and an Ameretto

Summer has hit and I’ve really slowed down on my listening. It takes me 9-10 days to get through an audiobook right now, but that’s ok. I’m just chilling this summer. Not pressuring myself.

As you can probably tell from the stats, it was a pretty quiet May & June! Aside from making a little headway on my Goodreads, Library Love, Read-Along and Audiobook challenges, the rest of my goals stayed stagnant.

  1. Like you, I’ve really slowed down. I ended up lowering by total books read/listened to goal for that reason. I agree it’s all about enjoying yourself! Nice work!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing, Jen! I think my own slowdown is mostly because I’ve been completely glued to the FIFA World Cup lately. But now that we’re down to the Finals, I’m finally getting some of my listening time back and can’t wait to dive back into my audiobooks!

  2. You make a good point about being happy with your reading/listening pace- that’s what matters more than big goals. I’m hoping to get through some older books in my audiobook queue this summer and spend less time on review books just to feel a bit more relaxed.
Nice that you advanced four of your challenges, Angela!

    1. Even though I’ve signed up for a bunch of challenges this year, I’m trying not to stress myself out. I just want to enjoy what I’m listening to and go at my own pace. It’s been a great year so far, and I’m really happy with where I’m at. Happy reading, and thanks for visiting!
