Welcome back, story seekers! Can you believe we are already at the halfway mark of the year? That means it’s officially time for my mid-year check-in for the 2026 COYER Out To Lunch Again reading challenge.
As a quick recap, this challenge is all about clearing out our digital shelves on a budget—focusing strictly on free and nearly free eBooks, audiobooks, and library loans (no physical books allowed!).
I’m aiming for a total of 35 books this year, and I’ve already tackled 22! My full tracking breakdown is right here, and you can find all my deep-dive reviews on the blog. Want to see what’s been keeping me company? Take a look below:

You are doing great! I am not keeping up with things but hope to improve over the next month. Things were out of whack for awhile there.
I’m so glad COYER allows library books, otherwise I’d be falling way behind! My reading this year has been almost entirely library loans, plus a few freebies I managed to sneak in. Thanks for stopping by, Anne!
