Welcome to another week of the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by the wonderful Coffee Addicted Writer. If you’re new here, this weekly event kicks off every Friday and runs through the following Thursday. It’s all about bringing our community together through a fun, bookish prompt. It’s a fantastic way to discover new titles, meet fellow bibliophiles, and grow your own circle of readers! Check out the 2026 Prompts to see what else is in store for the year!

This weeks prompt: July 17th – Do you read one book at a time, or juggle a few at once?
My Answer: I am strictly a one-book-at-a-time reader these days! A long time ago, I used to easily juggle a physical book and an ebook simultaneously, but now I find I can only truly focus on one story at a time. Occasionally, I might have an ebook and an audiobook going at once if they serve different parts of my day, but even then, I tend to pour all my attention into a single book until it’s finished. My brain just prefers giving one world my full focus!
Now it’s your turn! One book at a time, or the more the merrier? Sound off in the comments below!

I read one at a time.
Reading one at a time is a great way to go! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, Mary.
I used to have like 3 at a time going. One main book that I read most of the time. One that I kept in the bathroom, lol, and one audiobook for in the car or when I used to walk at the park. Now I usually have two going at all times. One audiobook and one main book. I do also have whichever Outlander book I’m working on sitting by my bed and I read it when I finish a book or don’t feel like reading something else before bed.

Wow, Lisa, you really have the multi-book system down to a science! Having different formats for different parts of the day is such a smart way to do it. Thanks for stopping by and sharing how you juggle them all!
