Welcome back! Today I’m finally sitting down to tackle a tag I’ve seen circulating for a while now. I first saw it over at That Library Girl.
No big surprise here—it’s pretty much always an Andrews book for me. Even though I bought the paperback copy, I held out for the audiobook release before jumping in. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! With a prophecy, a scavenger hunt, and an agonizing slow-burn romance, this book never lets up. The character interactions and banter are top-notch, but Kingsley the frog truly steals the show. He’s pure joy and delivers the perfect dose of comedy right when the story gets most intense! I’ve got nothing! I read urban fantasy, PNR, and sci-fi, so I generally avoid sad, mushy books. While emotional moments still crop up from time to time, I haven’t had a truly cry-worthy read yet this year.
I absolutely loved Maggie! Transported straight into the world of her favorite fantasy series—one famous for leaving fans hanging on a cliffhanger for years—she uses her obsessive, encyclopedic knowledge of the books to her advantage. Her goal? Change the story’s grim ending and survive a world as dangerous as it is breathtaking. You can read my full review here.
Stepping outside my comfort zone for A Curious Beginning paid off big time! Deanna Raybourn delivers a fast-paced plot, unmatched banter, and a brilliantly bold heroine. Pure cozy romantasy magic! The Spellshop serves up sweet romance, whimsical fantasy vibes, and a deeply charming atmosphere. It’s a bit of a slow burn, but the magical world-building makes it well worth the listen. I’m definitely coming back for the sequel! You can read my full review here.
I really want to love this series, but Robin makes it tough! I’m definitely reading on, but let’s be real: I’m only sticking around for the incredible world-building, the fast-paced plot, and Zylas—definitely not Robin. Also it’s part of my 2026 Read-Along. You can read my full review here.

One look at the blurb for Fates and Curses by Heather Renee, and it went straight to my TBR—mostly because of the heroine’s chaotic ferret sidekick! Add in questionable advice from grandma and constant supernatural threats, and I’m sold. Bumped right to the top! Purchase and learn more here.
I still haven’t listened to Winter Lost yet! I love the Mercy Thompson series, but even though I always pre-order the books, I somehow never get to them right when they come out. I’m planning to press play on this one soon—fingers crossed!
I’ve bought my fair share of Kickstarters and special editions this year, but the Target-exclusive hardcover of The Faraway Inn takes the crown. It is easily the most stunning addition to my shelves!
