Happy Wednesday, book friends! ☕✨
Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday—the ultimate mid-week check-in originally created by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and wonderfully revived by Taking on a World of Words. Grab your favorite drink and let’s dive right into exactly what’s on my shelves (and in my earbuds) this week! 📚👇
What did you recently finish reading/listening?
Finished Listening: I wrapped up Lost Talismans and a Tequila by Annette Marie!! It checks off the “L” spot on my Library Love Bingo card & is this months read-along novel. I loved it! Review coming next week.
What are you currently reading/listening?
Currently Listening: I’m listening to Gray Seas by Hailey Edwards. I’m trying to finish this series, so it’s off my list. It checks off the “G” spot on my Library Love Bingo card & Beat The Backlist challenge.
What do you think you’ll read/listen to next?
Next Up: Next up on my list? It’s a toss-up between Deanna Raybourn’s A Perilous Undertaking and Lindsay Buroker’s Calculated Whisk, which fits the “Lush Life” prompt for September’s TBR Challenge. Both will help tick off several challenge items, so my mood will decide: cozy historical mystery or paranormal humors fantasy?
Your turn! What are you reading, what did you finish, and what’s next on your list? Drop a link to your post or share your titles in the comments—I’d love to see what’s on your shelves!

Nice that your current read will check off a Bingo spot and sounds like you need to toss a coin for which to read next since they both look good. 😉
You’re right, both sound so good! I didn’t end up tossing a coin—I decided to go with cozy fantasy for this week’s TBR Challenge instead. We’ll see how quickly I get through listening to it! The BINGO card has been a lot of fun, and I’m really looking forward to seeing if I get a BINGO. Thanks for visiting, Sophia!
I just finished Rekker by Eva York and Starr Huntress.
Nice! Thanks for sharing. Happy Reading
Some great reading there!
Thanks!
These all look good. I’m so behind in my Library Love challenge. I’ve managed 5 books so far this year. I need to do better next year!
Have a great week!

Reading 5 books from your library is fantastic, so don’t get discouraged by the number! Borrowing and supporting your local library is what truly counts. Keep spreading that library love! Thanks so much for visiting, Emily, and have a great day ahead!
OH, I just finished Lost Talismans and a Tequila as well! Everything is so intense!!
I hope you continue to enjoy the Black Hat series. You are so close to being finished!
I just finished Murder in Blackfriars by Jennifer Ashley and starting Revenge of the Sunshine by Jackie Lau in ebook.
Lost Talismans and a Tequila was definitely intense! I completely loved it. I’m finding the Black Hat series a bit harder to stay invested in right now—it hasn’t quite matched how strong it was at the beginning. Even so, I’m determined to see what happens and finish the series, so I’m listening on! It sounds like you’ve finished and started some wonderful books yourself; I hope you love your current read. Thanks for visiting and sharing as always, Jen—it’s always a delight!
