Dr. Joyce Yards has never met anyone as irresistible as 466. Their therapy sessions are growing hotter, his raw sexual hunger becoming aggressive, and he refuses to discuss anything except the possibility of getting her naked. Joy understands the dire consequences if she indulges her passion. It will break her heart but she must walk away.

Moon has been drugged, his memory shattered, and he’s now little more than feral, a dangerous threat to everyone. In their need for help, the NSO doctors turn to the only female Moon ever cared about—the one who left him behind two years ago.

Moon isn’t the same male Joy once knew. There are no rules now. If sex tames the wild beast and triggers his fractured memories, allowing him moments of lucidity, then Joy will give him everything, body and soul. She’ll do whatever it takes to save him—even at the cost of her own life.

WOW! I’m glad I took a break from this series; because I came back to it with fresh eyes and an open mind. I loved Moon! Laurann Dohner had me glued to my book. Moon is book ten in her New Species series and by far this one is my favorite.

Moon is hot, dangerous and already has a past with Dr. Joyce Yards which makes for a more in-depth story. I enjoyed Moon! He is battling a drug that makes him forget who he is and who his friends are. He is brought down to his basic animal instincts. Only one women can help bring him back and heal his heart and mind.

Dr. Joyce Yards aka Joy is a head shrink. She has not been happy since she walked away from Moon almost two-years ago, but new it was for the best. Know that she is back in his life, she is determined to help him in anyway possible and will lay everything on the line even her heart.

Both Moon and Joy complemented each other. They worked as H/H’s. The author takes us on an emotional roller coaster into the past and present. We also get some light hearted, humorous moments between Moon and his best friend, Harley. I really want to see Harley’s story after this. This story is packed full of romance, sexy love scenes and action from start to finish. With a cover like this you know you are in for a hot romance.

I highly recommend this book in the series!

About Laurann Dohner

NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

I’m a full time wife, mother, and author. I’ve been lucky enough to have spent over three decades with the love of my life and look forward to many, many more years with Mr. Laurann. I’m addicted to iced coffee, the occasional candy bar (or two), and trying to get at least five hours of sleep at night.

I love to write all kinds of stories. I think the best part about writing is the fact that real life is always uncertain, always tossing things at us that we have no control over, but when writing you can make sure there’s always a happy ending. I love that about being an author. My favorite part is when I sit down at my computer desk, put on my headphones to listen to loud music to block out everything around me, so I can create worlds in front of me.

  1. Oh yay! I got book one a couple months back. I’m so glad to hear it’s a good series (even with it sounds like a couple blips along the way). I’ll have to get this one moved up the fun reads list 🙂 Thanks Angel!
