Warrior angels, vampire hunters, and angels gone bad heat up this altogether sizzling paranormal alternate universe, from the bestselling author Nalini Singh.

Angels' Wolf is a tale of flirtation and danger set in the Guild Hunter world. Noel has been promoted, but in the Guild Hunter world that's not always as positive as it sounds. And now that he's working with the beautiful, dangerous, seductive Nimra there are a whole host of new risks he has to contend with... Nimra is drawn to the mysterious Noel, sent to her by an angel, defiant and intense and oh-so-intriguing. Is their an alliance to be forged between them, or is it a matter of time before one of them becomes the others prey ...

This is a compelling, sexy addition to the Guild Hunter universe.

Also in this series: Angels' Blood, Archangel's Kiss, Archangel's Consort, Archangel's Blade, Angels of Darkness, Archangel's Storm

** Read in Angels of Darkness **

I enjoyed this short story. I liked both Nimra the Angel and Noel the Vampire. Nimra needs help and Raphael sends Noel, but he thinks he’s been cast aside; because of what happened to him. Both of them needed healing in different ways and they come to find what they need in each other.

Angel’s Wolf is a sweet, sad, and enjoyable read.

About Nalini Singh

I’ve been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There’s no other job I would rather be doing. In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.

I was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. I also spent three years living and working in Japan, during which time I took the chance to travel around Asia. I’m back in New Zealand now, but I’m always plotting new trips. If you’d like to see some of my travel snapshots, have a look at the Travel Diary page (updated every month).

So far, I’ve worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but I call it grist for the writer’s mill.

  1. I am pretty sure I read the first two books in this series, but can’t remember much of them. I am glad you’re enjoying this series so far 🙂

    1. I’m enjoying the series, but I don’t love it as much as her Psy-Changeling, but it’s still a very good series. I’ve had books like that where I’ve read the first one or two in the series, but don’t remember much. It happens to us all. ^_^

  2. With big series that have short stories, it’s sometimes hard to keep track of them all and if you have read them especially when they only get published in group type books instead of single or a book of shorts for the series only. I still have several shorts and full length books to read for this series.

    Ya, this one was enjoyable!

  3. Several bloggers have been tell me since the day I started blogging that I should pick up the Guild Hunter series since I LOVE Ms. Singh’s Psy-Changeling. I finally started reading the series this year and have been engrossed.

  4. I love this series. I’m not sure that I’ve read this short story. I know I’ve done a lot of her shorts, but I don’t think I’ve done them all. Glad you enjoyed it. I can’t wait to get back to this series.

    1. It was an enjoyable novella. With a couple we don’t see or maybe we see them later in the books, but still it was good.

  5. I love this series! And I thought I had read all the books and shorts… but I don’t remember this one at all. *scratches head* Time for a re-read possibly!

    1. Me too. I’m enjoying the series. It’s hard to keep track of all the novellas that are out in a long series especially if they show up in anthology type books instead of individual released. I need to pick up Angels Flight and read all those novellas.
