In Gold Valley, Oregon, forbidden desire just might turn into the love of a lifetime…

When Lindy Parker lost her cheating husband, she gained a vineyard. She’ll do anything for Grassroots Winery, including teaming up with the hottest devil she knows, rancher Wyatt Dodge. Wyatt is her ex’s friend and has an ego as big as the bulls he rides. But in spite of that, disciplined Lindy has always wanted him…

Lightning struck Wyatt Dodge the first time he saw Lindy Parker. But there were two problems with that: she was married to his friend, and Wyatt doesn’t do strings. But now Lindy is free, and the two of them can finally explore the heat that’s burned between them for so long. But can Lindy make this good time cowboy decide on forever?

Also in this series: A Tall, Dark Cowboy Christmas, Cowboy Christmas Blues, Smooth-Talking Cowboy, Untamed Cowboy, Hard Riding Cowboy, Snowed in with the Cowboy

Good Time Cowboy was a delight to listen too.

Lindy and Wyatt drive each other crazy. They’ve recently tied their business together to help promote the dude ranch Wyatt is trying to get off the ground and so, they have to suck it up and deal with each other.

These two have some issues to get over; before they can come together.

Wyatt’s got a lot on his plat. He’s got a few secrets too. He hasn’t told his family one important thing about the Ranch and we also learn about an incident in his childhood that sent him off to join the Rodeo circuit. When this all comes out. It’s a shock, but it helps Dad and Son to talk again.

Lindy was married and her hubby cheated a lot so, she’s sworn off men especially rodeo men. She’s focused all her energy into the winery and is gun shy about hooking up with a man. Especially Wyatt.

Lindy and Wyatt deep down really like each other, but they are prickly when together. They both are a handful, stubborn, and crave control. I liked watching them have to play nice to get the big event off the ground and then having to let go of the past and let someone in. Theirs a lot of tension between them and it just adds to the story.

I also like all the characters we meet; new and old. The family and friends make a great community.

Audio: Narrator Suzanne Elise Freeman did a fabulous job. I really enjoy her narration of the Gold Valley series. The voices are all unique to that character. I like how she portrays the story. It comes alive and I can’t stop listening. She gets me hooked.

Good Time Cowboy was a sweet romance. I really am enjoying the audio for the Gold Valley series. Now off to the next installment.

P.S. We are treated to a bonus novella, Hard Riding Cowboy, in this audio edition.

  1. I thought the same thing, but it’s also got the bonus novella in it too. It’s been a nice series so far for audio. Thank’s for visiting!
