A grumpy alien warrior. A pregnant librarian. A ready-made family?

Wanda has never hankered after excitement - or romance. A quiet life as a small town librarian suits her just fine. But while she doesn’t need a man, she does want a child. Just as her hard-earned dreams come true, she is abducted by aliens.

Now she’s been abandoned by her captors and assumed responsibility for two orphaned children, a pregnant alien, and a misplaced socialite. When their lifeboat is intercepted by a very large, very green, and disturbingly attractive alien, she isn’t sure if her situation has gotten better or worse.

Knowing that his race is doomed, Mganak has built a peaceful, solitary life for himself. When the lifeboat he salvages turns out not to be deserted after all, he is determined to pass on the responsibility for its inhabitants - no matter how much the curvy little female and her brood arouse his protective instincts.

But Wanda’s alien captors are hot on their trail, his ship is damaged, and the more time he spends with Wanda, the less he wants to let her leave. Could it be that his quiet life is not so perfect after all?

Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for mature readers.

Also in this series: Mama and the Alien Warrior, A Son for the Alien Warrior, Daughter of the Alien Warrior, The Nanny and the Alien Warrior, A Treasure for the Alien Warrior, A Home for the Alien Warrior

A Family for the Alien Warrior is book four in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn.

Mganak is kinda grumpy. He’s resigned himself to being alone. Then we have Wanda who is 4 months pregnant by a sperm donor. She’s been kidnapped by alien slavers and finds herself taking care of a mismatched group of individuals.

It’s a predictable romance. Mganak and Wanda fight their attraction; because she’s going back to earth, right?, but how can they resist each other. We get a bunch of babies, a grandma, a teenager, and a very pregnant alien.

It’s a sweet and lighthearted alien romance. It was enjoyable enough, but pretty predictable. I do like these alien warriors and those they pull into their orbit. The books in this series are all quick reads and I’m looking forward to the next installment.

Bex loves to read all kinds of romance: science fiction, shifter, fantasy, regency, contemporary…(Seriously, all of it!) Currently she writes SFR and Fantasy/PNR. Her writing style—a mixture of action, humor, tenderness, and heat—features worlds and characters that captivate her readers.

About Honey Phillips

USA Today bestselling author Honey Phillips writes steamy science fiction romance about hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can’t resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of five. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne – not necessarily in that order.

  1. I do like predictable sometimes. It makes for a fun read. I do like alien romances. I’ll have to give this one a try.
