These reviews are going to be quick and on a few of the books in the Alien Abduction sereis that I’ve tried through Kindle Unlimited. These are erotic science fiction romances.

Anna and the Alien

Anna and the Alien is book one in the Alien Abduction sereis by Honey Phillips.

This is a Hawt and Steamy read. LOTS of sex. However, its well-written and has a good solid story.

Anna had no idea she’d wake up in a cage, enslaved and surrounded by aliens. Her survival depends on keeping Jakkar, an injured male in the cell across from her alive. Things go from bad to worse and now they are stranded on an unknown planet.

Jakker is a dominant alien hero. He takes control in and out of the bedroom. His goal is to seduce and keep Anna, which she has no issues with.

I did enjoy this book though it didn’t fully capture me. I did have a few issues, but not enough to put it down. I’ll be check out the next book in the Alien Abduction sereis by Phillips.

Beth and the Barbarian

Beth and the Barbarian is book two in the Alien Abduction sereis by Honey Phillips.

Another Hawt and Steamy read with a couple that fits together.

Beth is sensitivity to others and can feel their emotions. It’s why she lives fairly isolated. Dragar is a scared alien male who has given up much in life. Beth will soon discover that Dragar’s issues go deeper than the skin and he will need her, as much as she needs him.

Dragar was a perfect alien alpha hero. I do enjoy my scarred hero’s. I liked his gruff appearance which hide such a gentle and caring man.

This book isn’t all sunshine. We’re treated to lots of sex scenes and they are well written. Your blood will be on fire. We also meet some new characters.

I enjoyed this book and will be continuing onto the next.

Cam and the Conqueror

Cam and the Conqueror is book three in the Alien Abduction series by Honey Phillips

This book SCREAMS of forced seduction/rape. No matter how pretty the words are I didn’t care for this.

Our hero paid someone to steal our heroine, so he can train her as a sex slave. Our heroine barely put up a fight and forgot about the abuse she endured. Non of this is consensual and the heroines logic. No thank you.

Unfortunately, Cam and the Conqueror was not the book for me. If the blurb intrigues you, I urge you to give it a shot. Just because it did not work for me does not mean it won’t for you.

Greta and the Gargoyle

Greta and the Gargoyle is book seven in the Alien Abdication series by Honey Phillips.

I picked this one up; because the events in it overlap with the end of Cam and the Conqueror. Even though I DNF’d Cam and the Conqueror I still wanted to read this one and I’m happy I did.

Mikaroz, our gargoyle hero is so sweet and Greta is a capable heroine. I adored these two together.

I enjoyed learning about the gargoyle’s in this universe. It’s a fast-paced insta-love romance. It’s fun, a little dangerous, sweet, and sexy.

I think this is the end for me in reading the Alien Abduction series. After 4 books I’m just not hooked enough to continue on.

About Honey Phillips

USA Today bestselling author Honey Phillips writes steamy science fiction romance about hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can’t resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of five. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne – not necessarily in that order.

  1. I’m a sucker for a scarred hero, too, which seems to be the best of the bunch for you. I’ve got a few of her cyborg romance novellas in anthologies that I’ve enjoyed and picked up freebie first in series from her in PNR and sci-fi. Hopefully, they’ll turn out good.
